I have an idea for spiral knights what would happen is that you would click on a player and you would select duel after this happens you would be transported to an arena where you and your friend(or enemy) would fight to the end. Also other players would be able to gamble on the match. and the winner would receive some money as a reward for his strength.

LD, my worst enemy!!!
LD is tough for me, i suck at it tbh... but other than that, if a dueling system was implimented, OOO would have to balance out the damage dealt and armor and everything, or just have a certain type of gear given to you for that game mode, i mean. It would be nice to battle your friends and random ppl in your tier, like in BL, you are given a bomb to tag out other ppl, why dont they give certain armor and swords and shields for that specific game mode if u want a random match, say if u wanted to host a gulild tournament, and it allowed you to bend the rules to your liking, but no reward for winning or losing. so it would be a gamemode just for fun, not for humiliating your foe in battle, just fighting to see whos the better knight.

2 knights dueling to death wouldn't last more than 5 seconds.
You'd be spending more time loading the arena and waiting for gamblers than figthing. This game is fast paced. Have you been to LD?
