I was using the Blitzneedle's charge attack during a Fire Storm Citadel run earlier today and noticed that after firing, my knight then paused for a second or two before reloading. It got me killed several times in the boss fight due to being locked in place before being able to even reload.
I'm assuming this is some kind of bug or glitch.
It is obviously the disadvantage for using blitz on vana all the time.
