Basically, you would right click an item, click "Lock Heat", and that item would no longer acquire heat, so that you can level a specific item.

It seems pretty silly to have to have another Lv. 10 item, especially when you have some players running around in Proto gear because they're trying to power level and have nothing better to equip.
