Scamming is only a scam through the player's eyes
Don't trust anyone. Once you give up an item, you won't get it back, unless you're CERTAIN you can trust them. But then again... you know never know.

Posting for help never would help here. and your thread will get closed by a GM.
First you have to input in your chat text /report name (Ex /report player-name) then select option 2 then it will open a list of reason why you want to file a complain. that log will help GM to look into your situation. (more info here: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Complain)
Also you maybe want to send a support ticket here https://www.spiralknights.com/support/#mail and tell them about your situation
About if you will recover your items or not. i dont know i think thats matter of the GM who look into your situation
