The picture seems to suggest that the coming features have already been assigned buttons in the live game but are simply not shown in the options menu nor utilized. (Bar the accidental slip of the supposed Shield Bash.)
This is not the first picture of its nature, however, though the suspense is starting to build now that the Battle Sprites are closer to release while being introduced to these new combat mechanics.

Yep, I saw a "feed menu" key and a "toggle battle sprites" key (which I presume is their menu for accessing their stoof (like how F5 does recipes)
