One of the guildmasters is also a gamemaster, and the guildmasters of the guild know when a promo will drop days before and let specific members know ahead of time to sell their ce as to profit the best way possible.

Firstly, Game Masters usually don't know when a promotion is being released that much earlier than regular players
Secondly, anyone can guess when promotions will be released by downloading the preview client and using Spiral Spy to find new costumes, and then sell CE on the day before a wednesday patch.
I wouldn't be mad because I know OOO won't endanger its image in front of the community. While there MIGHT be some people with a lot of crowns/CE because of their specific job, I still don't find a problem in this.
People get rough ideas of when promos will drop due to looking at the game's files after updates, not because they work for Three Rings. You're either paranoid or gullible.
