How do you add this game to your steam and then keep your stuff? I have not been on for like 6 months so, please help regain my "knowledge".

Download and run the game
Download and run the game through Steam, on character creation press Back. This will bring you to the login screen, uncheck the "Login via Steam" box and put in your standard account's login info.
It will prompt you to convert the account to bind it to your Steam account, converting will allow you to use Steam Wallet to buy energy, but will cause you to be unable to play via the website. If you don't know what to use, don't convert. You can always do it later.

Kitty, I think he means he has a Spiral Knights account which he wants to link to Steam.
I also want to let you know, mister OP, that once merged, you can't un-merge. If your Steam account gets screwed, so does your SK one.
