Laaaaadieees and Gentlemen, may I have your attention!

Announcer:Welcome to the annual Happy Vs Healthy Tournament!!

Crowd's claps..

Announcer:This shall be the first non-toxic, hateful, and egotistical 1v1 Tourney! I want everyone to have fun, laughs and enjoy their matches or spectating. This Tourney isn't only for showing skill, but to show how friendly is the LD community and sportsmanship. Guess what? It's for free! And you know what? There are prizes!! (Humbles ones they are... No 1million crowns for the winner...)

(Rules):

1. Auto-Target is allowed, you can use it if you want.
2. All Classes are allowed.
3. All Weapons are allowed.
4. No Entry Fees.
5. No Healing by any means. (Guardian, Health Pads throughout the map or the base. )
6. No swearing or cursing the other player, keep it clean. (Violating this rule might lead to disqualification.)
7. No accusing for using a specific weapon or AT. You don't like it, don't use it.
8. No need for recording, it's optional.
9. Trinkets are allowed.
10. UVs are allowed.
11. All armors and helms are allowed.
12. If you are a recon, you should cloak the moment the judge says GO!

(The Players):

While this is my first Tourney ever, and because of the lack of experience in organizing events, I will keep this Tourney small and for 16 players only. I will make a 32 one if we hopefully succeed in this one. ( WE WILL! )

(The Rounds and Matches):

1st Round:
The 1st Round is divided into 4 Groups with 4 players in each one. Each player will fight in 3 matches. The matches are out of 5, but it works differently than other tournaments. The first player to reach 5 kills in the duel wins. That means, the matches doesn't end at 3-0, in fact, someone can lose 3 times in row then flip the table and kill the enemy 5 times.
Win= 3 points
Loss= 1 point

2nd Round:
The player with the highest number of points moves to the 2nd Round. The 2nd Round consists of 2 matches.
Winner from Group A vs Winner from Group C
Winner from Group B vs Winner from Group D
The matches are the same in the 1st Round.

3rd Round (The Final):
The winners from 2nd Round matches will fight in the Finale (DUH!)
The match is same as in Round 1 and 2.

(Prizes):

1st place gets 115k cr
2nd place gets 65k cr
3rd and 4th places get 10 Enamorocks <3

(Judges and how to form the matches):

The judges are: Xxdragneel - Daystorm - Coldness - Oh-Quiet-You - Grimranger (Might add more judges later.)
The matches are counted if only one of them is in the match at least. If the two players are ready for the duel, 2 guilds will synch into GvG Lockdown. When the matches starts, nobody shall capture a point, everyone goes to the top or the chosen point before the match. So please, for trolls out there, don't ruin the match by capping a point or kill the other team. Doing that will harm the Tourney and delay it.

(Server):

Edit 1: If the opponents are US vs EU, 3 matches will played at EU first. If the EU player wins 3-0, he gets the 3 points. If the US player manages to get 1 kill, then we go to US server to play 2 matches. If he manages to get 2-0, the US player wins. In case it's US vs US, then it will be played on US server. In case it's EU vs EU, it will be played on EU server. (Little biased to EU, sorry!)

(Date and Time):

I am still not sure when the Tournament will start, but I am aiming to start it in 25th of June. So, if you are interested in joining, write down in the comments below that you want to join. After we get 16 players ready, I will make a draw and then make the Groups Table down. It's also preferable if you write down your timezone, so we can know when to hold a match or not. Because the Tournament is going to be on EU server, the timezones of most players are going to be GMT, GMT +1, +2, +3, so measure on that.

Add me into the tourney.
However, can we do a best of 5 between EU and US server?
so first is EU server, up to 3 games. If I lose all 3, EU person wins.
if I manage to win one, we head to US server
US server 2 games. I have to win both to win.
EU person still has the advantage because they have the home advantage first, but the advantage is reduced. I think that's more fair.

If you wont do that, I'm still joining.

I'd expect some decency from you. Move it to the Treasure Vault and DON'T leave a ghost copy, please. Why is WRH (it's Warmaster Rocket Hammer and not whatever you said, by the way ;3) banned but not DR?

So, correct me if I'm mistaken, but aren't Guardians allowed to heal themselves? Shouldn't Recons not be allowed to mark enemies then? And what about Strikers? Banning the boost?

All that aside, which I'm sure you'll clear up, thank you. Thank you for not being a jerkface :>

Because DR sucks.
He will allow guardians to heal themselves during the matches, but he means after the matches (when someone is dead), that they cannot heal.
I would very much like for Redblades suggestion to be taken in hand..
I'll join this tourney.
(FYI, Contri's first tournament was based on EU and US as well.

I apologize for this handicap, but I lag extremely on US, so... And congratz for being the first applier!

I intended to put it in General Discussion, mainly because a lot of contests were held here and nobody moved them. While I know it's more suitable in Treasure Vault, but people barely visit it, so please, don't kill the chance of having a Tournament. :s ) And about the DR and WRH, the DR barely does anything in LD due to the invincibility frames, but Hammer gives drastic advantage for non F2P players over the latter.

And you misunderstood the Guardian part. I meant by Guardian Healing is when an Allied Guardian heals you, not when a Guardian is dueling and heals himself. And Recons should cloak the moment the judge says GO! Because cloaking before it will make them deadly and win if they are already skilled.

I won't be a jerkface you krackers-nut. ;3

It's true that the previous tournaments were US and EU, but they were US biased. Why? The matches started on US first, thus, giving the upper hand for the US player, and when we went to EU, one should kill 3 times to tie, just that... And to be honest, most of the players in the previous 1v1 Tournies were US, mainly because they are the majority of LD, so I want EU to have some fun too. :3

you guys have nothing to do other than come in here and cry about auto target being 'allowed' in a 'tournament' specifically designed for casual players who use AT? I can't fathom why some people care so much, the same people who claim that they are better without auto aim than with it (indirectly declaring it a hindrance).

It baffles my mind. Find a cause worthy of your time or deserving of your hatred. Get involved in helping the needy, or protesting corruption. Take a step back and let Spiral Knight's Lockdown take a more deserving role in your lives....sheesh.

I could join this for the fun of it, but if I'm taking up a 16th spot that someone else could be filling, then I relinquish my spot to them.

I'm going to have to mirror some sentiments expressed by others:

It's pretty clear that there is a specific grudge against Warmaster Rocket Hammer rather than an objection for paid content. For the sake on consistency even DR should be included, and more importantly Mask of Seerus. It's a good piece of equipment not to be overlooked.
If we're looking at P2W content, I'd argue that Black Kat Cowl is even moreso than the Hammer. Technically it doesn't require money, but really it does. You needed an ele pass, boatloads of CE or beyond a million crowns to get one, and for that kind of resources you could easily buy OCH from another player or just get the expansion pack.
The EU thing comes across as a gleeful table-turning against US players. Most players are US and it just plain old made sense to bias tourneys in their favour 'cause that was simply the easiest thing to do. It's a bit hard to decide on the best way to handle an EU vs US case, but at any rate there's no reason two US players should have to compete against eachother on an EU server just because. Redblade's suggestion seems nice enough.

Have a US side and an EU side. Each side determines a winner. Winners of each side play THREE best out of 5 series.
First on EU server.
Second on US server.
Third ?????

***If you want to give a blatant advantage to EU, then play the third on EU regardless. After all its just for fun.
***If you want to make it slightly less biased, determine a "home server advantage." Go off win-loss ratio. Whichever player has a better winning percentage of rounds gets home server advantage. The third series is played on their home server.

EX: EU player wins every match 5-0. US player wins every match 5-1. EU player has 100% win percentage, US player has (approx) 80% win percentage. Thus EU player record > US player record and gets home server advantage.

done. and. done.
honestly, i should start charging for advice and open a "Spiral Knights Consulting Service."

I think I want to join, but I'd rather have Tier 2. (If it's T3, that's fine!)

EDIT: Also, both players should agree on a server to play on. If no server can be decided on, a Trick or Treat confetti should be used. (One player says either "Boom" or "Bop" to decide which one goes in his/her favor.)

EDIT2: I'm on the US server. Also, if I play as a Guardian and I accidentally heal myself, would I get banned?

Also just to clarify Feller's remark of ATquitas - Aequitas is officially a dead guild full of a group of friends presently. Feller was beaten by an Aequitas by his own terms (no AT, videos on both sides, no toggling, no brandish etc.) and I promise we all had a really good laugh from it. Go Bulby!

You can play as a Guardian, and heal with it. But what I meant here, is when 2 people duel and then an allied Guardian raises his shield and heals his friend.

I would also like to acknowledge your servers issue. While the spanish posse's LD tournys are inadequate, their US vs EU rules are great.

I would also mail every US player and ask them if they are ok settling things on EU server, I for one don't mind what so ever.
