The problem is that there are things that we cannot play without, at least without some terrible things happening. Check said terrible things here.
You would have to remove pointless things that you don't need, but still keep the ones that you absolutely cannot live without. That would require some big [human organs] to pull off knowing that you could inadvertently break the game, or just back up the resource folder before tinkering around.

Many games have at least the option to take screenshots without HUD (nor having to crop the picture with paint :P)
That's why it's an option, not a permanent choice.

Hudless hud was here a centuries ago as a Dev-only feature. I wonder why just now you noticed.
Also someone has made MOD, what turns off Hud. Idremember who.

I think it was Autofire who asked if it was okay for a Hudless mod, but I'm not certain. I remember a Salamander avatar, so it might be him.

They better not freaking turn the Wraiths into a blitz needle or I swear I will only use it as a cosmetic -_-. I want to be some kind of CC weather it be a poison cloud or simply an enemy push. I don't want it to be an over powered weapon.

I don't see why this was moved to Suggestions, since it was more a question rather than a request.
Anyway, I'm not really interested in a hudless display. And while the delay is a bit of a pity, It's better than having the Sprites released an a buggy (or buggier) state.
