The shakes are kinda cool after the first few times but then they're just... annoying, in my opinion.

The flashes when you take damage are "cool" and all, but when the game is all about flashy telegraph lights and visual cues, it gets in the way. Not a big fan of the "I'VE BEEN JAMMED" feel, anyways. I understand it'd be very useful for players who don't really watch their health, though.

In addition, because of how the game freezes when it first loads a certain set of graphics, it can cause you to move or attack a little more than you'd like to.

So, I'd like a way for it to be toggled off, not necessarily removed entirely.

Also maybe we wouldn't have to reboot the game for it to work because that's kinda annoying, especially when going between CW and LD.

Even more annoying when you had to sneeze right in the very first group of your run and Lady Fortune doesn't favor you any hearts for the next two depths...reminds me of some 'Bloodlust-Mode Enabled'-effect from some third-rate vampire FPS.

We should be able to turn this off because whenever I take damage my screen sometimes freeze for a second which is annoying.

Oh god yes~!

I thought my computer would freeze randomly before, now every time someone revives i can walk away and go get a slushie from DQ down the street and still come back in time to see my screen frozen. (Over exaggeration)

Total agreement. The red and jitters around the edge of the screen when you're below 30% hp are distracting. We should be able to turn it off.
