So i got 70 of these from 7 mist tank replacements. Added with the extra ones i got from playing the new rank missions (related to battle sprites) i had 70 something.
But after the most recent update, i checked my arsenal i only have 59 sparks of life =(
(And no i didn't use any ofc, otherwise i wouldn't be reporting this bug) Some just disappeared.

Uh, you did actually click either the 'Accept' or 'Accept & Delete" button, right? You need to do that to claim anything attached to mail. They grey out once you've accepted the item.

Did you seriously have 7 big mist tanks? weren't those mini mist tanks (worth only 1 spark instead of 10) ???
