Basically, while looking through my Trinket and Weaponslot upgrades, I noticed that my Weaponslot already expired.
The funny thing: The game actually knows that it expired, still it works.
Bug or Intended?
I'm also quite sure that when I log out that the slot vanishes.

Slots expire in real time.
It'll notify you that it's expired when you join anything that has to do with weapons in it.

It's saving you the oh-so-hard trouble of having to re-equip the weapon again with a short grace period while you're in Haven.

Probably a bug, but where were you when it expired?
Maybe it gives you the courtesy of finishing your current dive?
