I know it's tough coding and making functions for guns, OOO. In fact, I think handguns are especially difficult for all of you at OOO to make because you have to make all of the functions and mechanics for the bullet speed, path etc. However, you guys can't keep making swords. The last handgun you guys made was the pulsar... please, read this. We need a new handgun, if not, multiple new handguns, not just a reskinned one.
So, let's make: An awesome gun!
First of all, this suggestion is made so there can be more guns to choose from.
Anyway, this gun, will be called the "Reverberator". This handgun, like always, held in one hand, will shoot a large, powerful "projectile" that will keep moving at a sluggish pace. It's not really "slow", but it's slower than all the alchemers, even the 2 star version will be slower than the 2 star version of any alchemer. It's slower than Polaris too! Nevertheless, this gun will blast out a projectile, already said its speed, and this large projectile will keep on moving until it reaches its "end point". If the projectile hits any enemy, the projectile will not disappear. However, if it hits anything that can't be broken, like the wall, or blocks that can't be destroyed, then the bullet will disappear. If it hits breakable blocks, it will also disappear. However, again, if it hits an enemy, it will not disappear. This handgun is kind of like the Big Angry Bomb, slow, but very powerful. It should also inflict stun. I think this gun should be forged from a Blaster! Anyway, unless there is a wall or something blocking its path (except an enemy(ies), you can shoot up to 3-4 projectiles before a projectile disappears.
Other Suggestions:
Slower than Pulsar. This speed can be seen with Movement Speed Decrease Medium OR faster than Pulsar.
After 5 seconds or until the projectile hits a wall or breakable block, bush etc., the projectile will disappear.
No knockback on normal attack.
Powerful bomb-like knockback. (charge only!!)
Shoots once before a reload.
This gun can be obtainable from the new Tier 3 boss. It will begin at 4*, and proceed to 5* with the requirement of a recipe. IF this doesn't work out, the Reverberator can simply be obtained from forging from recipes available via Hall of Heroes, starting from 2, 3, or 4*.
Inflicts status only via charge.
Can sometimes make zombies, mecha knights and other humanoid enemies do the "fall-on-the-ground" animation.
The charge is like this = The charged projectile will make an explosion whenever it touches an enemy, but it doesn't disappear. It will explode upon reaching its end zone.
For those of you who think this is like Polaris/Supernova, well hi! Anyway, it's not like a Pulsar. My intent on this handgun is to make a gun that shoots a projectile that is slow-moving and can inflict damage to one enemy multiple times (if the enemy gets caught in the projectile more than once). I wanted to make this gun go through enemies without disappearing and inflicting damage to the enemy(ies) behind it, next to it, etc. Hence the name "Reverberator". See? It's not bad. Now go back and think again! :3
For those of you who think it's like a Catalyzer: It's not. I'm thinking of the projectile to be like a large bowling ball that has the function of those large spikey wheels in Firestorm Citadel, but it goes past enemies and doesn't do knockback. The projectile, unlike the spikey wheels, can deal damage on all sides. It only does knockback during the charge.
So it's basically Polaris.
