As we all know, several threads have been made on some sort of creation chamber. THAT IS NOT WHAT THIS THREAD IS ABOUT!!!

This thread is about creating a DEV KIT, so that people like me can create models and textures for Spiral Knights, and test them to see if they work. This does not mean I am asking for a Spiral Workshop (although one would be nice). If there won’t be one, and there will be a dev kit, then I will at least be able to use custom models.
This Dev kit would have to work something like the Source or Alien swarm Dev kits.

Please, make it happen!

Textures are saved in png. Even paint can edit them already.

A dev kit isn't something you can make over night especially not if only got a 20 people team, a better way of doing this would be to have dev kit function built in game like how editing guild halls currently works.

Same as pretty much any game, problem is it'll only be client side, since modding and distributing mods spiral knights isn't allowed by their terms and conditions.

In any case, we need a platform to distribute them, not to edit or test them.

Make backups and replace something in game. That's own modding on any game works too.

@Aotr. It makes little difference to me, seperate or included. @Little-Juances I should've known better than to think Spiral Knights gamers were 3d Graphic Designers. I already have a platform. And I don't want to edit. I want to CREATE!!! I want to make models, create the textures and be able to TEST THEM!!!
