What else needs to be said here? Nobody ever has voice chat and it's a pain.
Enable voice chat for EVERYONE, not just steam users!

And while you're at it
make it so there isn't a 3-10 second delay or anymore stutter.
And before anyone says it, no it's not my wifi. Several people have complained about it.

I wonder why people always turn their mics off? What if someone has something to say or issue orders without taking the chance of typing and getting their face handed to them?

Here's a better idea: Get Steam.
Can't get steam? Get Skype. Can't get skype? Get one of the other two hundred voice chat programs out there.

That's a pretty naive thing to say seeing as people with Linux still can't play Spiral Knights on Steam.
Also, not everyone has Skype, or "one of the two hundred voice chat programs", so you can't voice chat with randoms like you can on Steam.

It's pretty much a pain to open up Skype while playing SK. It makes me lag soooooo much, that I avoid using both at the same time. Some players might have experienced this problem, including me. Sooo yeah. Have fun lagging :P

I sent a support ticket and after a few questions they transferred a friend to non-steam, so if you know any steam linux players tell them to do the same.

No, because I don't wanna hear everyone's ugly child-like voices screw with my ears. Until OOO fixes that mic bug, I will reject this idea with a passion.
+1 I guess, even though I have steam and don't use voice chat anyways.
