Since Dark Harvest is coming I thought it would be a good idea if we were able to obtain a scythe?
Just an Idea I had in the back of my head and I didn't feel like thinking thinking the whole thing.
(Sorry if this has already been though of before)

If you have any more ideas for DH, put them there as a comment. We're all big dreamers in that thread. Except for trolls. They don't have nice dreams.
You're not alone with your thoughts. Scythes are in high demand around the forums-
And more recently too. Just a few listed there, there's a lot more. Like the lance, it's a great and popular idea, and I'm sure OOO will indulge us eventually.
It's fine if your search thingie is derpy, mine is too.
Imo, scythes would go very well with dark harvest, since scary scythes are a tool of Death- the collector (harvester) of souls. Also the event is called dark "harvest." It's not just crops we're gathering...

Gamewise, sure, not necessary. But more toys = more fun. New toys with new attack patterns, even better.

I made a detailed description of a scythe weapon but it honestly wouldn't work well with the Dark Harvest so I won't post it as I feel that would be kind of unnecessary.
