I'm not sure if anyone has ever adressed this, but what's up with that gold coloured half circle with
what appears to be an owlite on it. Any ideas?

I'm just really curious, it could be the thing nick mentioned, a thing we see daily but no one ever noticed.

That topic is old, and this is in our new title screen

I'm pretty sure the golden thing is there to resemble a sort of baby toy. Maybe even one of those things that lie above a crib and dangles around? I won't believe the planet is called "Cradle" purely because it is protecting an unidentified power source.

What does the fox say?

I like Fangel's interpretation better since the globe thing would be way too lazy for the developers, I don't think OOO is THAT lazy.

When we slay them, can we wear them like we do to most Cradle-monsters?

my thoughts

i think it is one of those things that holds a globe, notice the object that is placed about 3/4 up the golden semicircle, those were on very old globes to measure latitude and longitude more precisely

@Gkku>I've actually thought about this before and eventually assumed this bit was haven.

That's actually pretty plausible, and it could be the reason Haven's rarely ever attacked directly - it's difficult to reach us.

@Jungle-Sword>and would't you see the skylark then?

You know, I just realized that, in the prologue video, the Skylark never actually crashes onto Cradle. Only the escape pods do. It makes me wonder if the Skylark is actually damaged further than just "missing a Tearium core," and that's why there's nothing to see.

Take the High Road?

We keep on delving underground...
But has anyone thought,
"Those Mountains at the top of cradle...they could use some exploring".
