Let's face it, the charge for the antigua line is useless. Your stuck in the same spot for 4 seconds and you are prone to attack, there's no better way to kill yourself. How to fix it.
1. Take out the first part of charge where you shoot your 6 shots and just shoot the special.
2. Keep full charge, but allow the player to aim, shift their line of fire, although they are still stuck in the same spot.
3. Reduce the 6 shots into 2 large and powerful ones that do 200% damage of a normal shot and keep the special bullet at the end.
Because of Apoocrean event it is hard to ignore such a sought after gun and it's firearm line's long history of such a useless charge.
Antigua charge works fine for what it does. Take some distance, use it at a chokepoint, or use it on a vortex. In all of these situations, the charge will inflict a large amount of damage which exceeds normal shooting.
For situations where the charge is unsafe, you have normal shooting.
