Title says it all. I know some would say just choose one but an event should be one single event. You should be able to spend time on a single event to get all your awesome goodies and don't have to worry about the other event.
Next time. . dont have 2 events going on the same time.
Considering that the first dark harvest in 2011 also introduced the Shadow Lairs, the 2012 event added very little in comparison.
If it wasn't for the Obsidian update, then it would be identical to last year. Collecting the exact same Hallow items that have been rotting on the AH for the last 12 months? No thank you.
Where is my 5th of July celebration prize box at? I want my knight to be wearing the stars and strips of URMERICA!!!!(seriously that would be a nice break from the balck kat events and the crappy recon ranger/elite trinket promos)
As Exerpa pointed out. There would be something for players who have been playing since then, and something else for people who just started the game without experiencing Dark Harvest before. I think this is the best thing in a way. Perhaps not perfect, but then you think of something that can benefit both parties.
Rank restriction pretty much makes sure that new players won't be getting the new obsidian weapons at all, unless they can at least equip their 4*s and heat it to craft it if not use their obsidian stuff. So for these, they get to enjoy Dark Harvest.
Me? Having spent much of my time to collect every single piece of hallow costume (except Frankenzom) I could dedicate my time to Shroud of Apocrea, and when I was done with that I happily went to get my Authentic Frankenzom mask and now I'm done with both events.
@Midnight-Dj The 4th of July is only celebrated by America. That isn't really fair to people living in other countries. It's like saying "omg i want day of the dead prize box" and that is only celebrated by Mexico.
I know it would be unfair... doesn't stop me from wanting it.
I disagree, having two events run simultaneously means there's something for everyone. People can have their cake or eat it.
If the two events were seperate, there'd be less reason for you to do the second one because it's an economy-based reason which is dampened due to the rest of the participants of said economy partaking in the event also.
