If you don't know, before the new GUI was in placed, you hold and drag on what you wanted to share such as a Health Capsule or a Vitapod off the button.

Since OOO made changes to the loot system that each person obtains a different amount of loot in the Clockworks.

What if some knight had 3% health and no health in their hotkeys; or if you go ta duplicate vitapod and wants to give one of your party members.?

Reviving with health is simple: One knights, with health obviously, goes up (near) to a dead knight and clicks the button to revive their fellow spelunkers with half of their health.

gods ain't gonna help you, son.

now there are much more consumables and viadpods dropping, because of instanced loot.
as for health sharing, I personally prefer the ER we have.
in a few words, you can't expect to have what you asked without drawbacks.

Some good and bad things with this idea. Even though you cant drop vials and such from your hot keys, you can still use them at any time to get rid of them (with the exception of a health pill when at full HP) so there really isn't any reason a knight couldn't just do that instead of dropping even though it does take a few extra seconds longer. And since every knight get's their own drops, dropping a vitapod wouldn't work because your teammate wouldn't be able to get it anyway, and if they could it would create multiple copies of the same drop which counteracts the entire system. That being said, i do agree that dropping hot keys items only would be an ok idea as long as other knights can't pick them up.

I actually preferred the system of health revs before the update, but to change that back now would make emergency revives and sparks of life obscure, both of which i think are essential for the new system. It's a sad case of having to choose the better of two evils in which both methods have their down sides. Although, i do believe that we should be able to revive fellow knights like before by walking over them and activating a revive, but instead of taking health it uses a spark. That way we don't have to go through the trouble of clicking in a drop down menu just to revive a party member.

Health splitting is just obsolete. Work for your Sparks, consider your skill cap, or deal with it.

Though, I don't see why we shouldn't be able to drop pills/vials anymore.

The mechanics for this are already in place. Have a Kleptolisk steal something from you, and kill it so it drops what it stole. In a party of two or more, everyone sees this loot, the item that got stolen. This particular item behaves as the old loot system does, it goes to whoever picks it up first. Why can't we just drop Pills/Vials/Vitas anymore? It makes no sense, and is inconsistent with the Kleptolisk behavior.

When you're this swag this world just bows at your knees

obscure

Just a little trivia, this word means "ambiguous", or "indistinct". I think the word you were looking for was "obsolete".

no, i meant obscure. having both systems at the same time would make both a little funky and hard to understand which is used when. therefore, i meant "indistinct" in a way, but i dont know maybe i just have bad grammar.
