I feel like the Cobalt set is not really grasped for in end game and I think I have a solution

Increase the natural Elemental and Shadow defense and lower the natural Normal/piercing So it would be considered "an all rounder type" of armor

or the Jack of all trades, master of none

Like Jorin says

"It's good for any situation."

Wouldn't that be great?

Pain magnet, more like it.

Alternatively, nuke it as gear and reissue it as costume. People love costumes.

-In 2 out of 4 situations, it would entirely surpass skolver this way...

-In the other 2, you don't end up dying to the stuff the alternative (swapping armors) would leave you open to

-All this is done while only paying for one armor while you scramble to get into shadow lairs (that, newsflash, noone wants to take you on when your personal ability to live directly correlates with your ability to spam polaris) just so you can get the armor-that people look at to determine originality and sense of self worth-in all 3 colors.

-Heads up, the alternative is balancing your battle-rags properly (you know... not allowing one to swing very high damage, medium speed GFs and DAs in LD... maybe even making you a trivial kill)

isn't it funny when people who pick wolver go around putting down defensive equipment?

I, for one, think you have an interesting approach to the cobalt set. I always found it weird that it had that normal-pierce defence anyway, with it's aforementioned competitor blocking the exact same thing (and that making it not much of an all-rounder anyway)

Did someone sneak in an extra

Did someone sneak in an extra post then delete it? I assume that wasn't addressed to me (Play LD? I would rather stab myself in the head)

Tier 3 still has a lot of normal damage floating about. 5* gears typically still have a lot of normal defense.
Coincidence? Maybe.

The technical question to ask: Is having ~50% normal defense in a split normal/non-normal enviroment make more or less sense than say, ~25-33% normal+~25-33% non-normal defense?

As for defensive equipment: Give Skelly,Ice jelly and magic status resists against the big 4 + 2x bomb ctr trinkets = Go anywhere, use any weapon.
