Hello, fellow Spiralers! I would like to suggest handicap mode. Handicap mode would be another option when choosing a mission.
Each level would have some unique disadvantage which you receive in handicap mode. Some could be more obvious, like limiting the star levels you can bring, or some could be more fitting to a level, like only letting you use bombs on the Roarmulus Twins. Maybe even a permanent poison/stun throughout the level. There are lots of possibilities.
Completing a mission in handicap mode could give you a star next to the mission icon, or some other random frivolous thing. (Or maybe not frivolous, such as special missions you can do if you earn enough stars.)
Questions, comments, concerns, plans for disrupting the space-time continuum?

I reckon this would be better added as achievements.
e.g, Complete a Tier 2 run with only Tier 1 armor, Defeat Vanaduke in a party where no-one brings guns, etc

So what you're trying to suggest is a new difficulty mode?
This one is unbalanced. Permanent stun is a bit unfair since your movement is much slower.

@Blitsbee Ok, maybe that would be a little difficult, it was just a possibility for a handicap, they could be anything, really.
@Hexzyle That seems good, I wasn't really sure about the rewards part.
