A simple suggestion: When one of my friends is playing lockdown, I should be able to click their name and choose "Spectate" to watch their game. Either I'm the only one who watches their friends play, or this should have been implemented already.
Additionally, there might even be a "Join" option that puts you on the waiting list for their specific game, so you can play together. (Not sure if that would work, the lockdown waiting list confuses me...)
+1 for the spectate.
But as far as i know, there are not specific games for the waiting list. It it just one big pool of players waiting, and all the players who are ready at the same time play together, which is why players who just finished a game happen to play together again. I've had times when I'm playing with someone for one game, but not for the next when we both picked 'PLAY AGAIN'.
+1 for Spectate and Join. I'd love the join option. Hate when I try to get into a game with a friend and it decides to put me in a 4v4 right before the "Play again" timer hits 0.
