Well now, with the aid of the speed boost that lasts 30 seconds, you too can now run at that speed!
It's really fun to do, I just wish we could have permanent access to this speed. Oh well.

You know, with that speed, I could become a God in Spiral Knights. Nothing could, and wouldn't, touch me. Everyone would be running with Chaos Cloak, if it were a permanent thing, that speed boost. Chaos Cloak for any type of stratum, thanks to that speed boost. Compound 42 with a Chaos set? That's wacky and suicidal. Speed is overpowered, for speed is equivalent to evasion!

Wear a full set of Merc or Merc Demo + Swift Steps II Sprite Perk to get MSI VH along with that Speed Boost.
Running along like Sonic the Hedgehog on crack is... so very fun.

The damage is boost is 20%. I assume the defence boost is the same as the orbs from Iron Heart Attack, making those also 20% and therefore entirely worthless.
Is the speed boost 20% as well? I have no idea, but it's delicious. We really need the ability to get MSI max on a permanent basis.

Maybe now we can go back to 2011 and talk about future updates. It's not spoilers if the developers haven't thought of it yet!
But, for science, could someone with a backfire barrier drakon and MSI VH make a quick video of them breaking the spiral knights sound barrier?
it's the same as Drakon's Backfire Barrier. Although that only lasts a few seconds and has a cooldown.
Not sure why they put a buff that gives it to you for 30 seconds, but that's OOO for you.
