Do you think 3 rings would be up to this? because i think it'd be an awesome addition to the game, and im sure we have some great artists/designers in the community.

I couldn't design a piece though because i suck at art & design lol

just a thought :)

Actually, this is a suggestion, hence, it goes in suggestion forums.

And players do come up with designs for new armors every now and then (check the suggestion forums) and OOO probably will never use them.

this makes it a suggestion.
besides, we can still talk in the suggestion subforum, it's not like the discussion ends when it goes there.

Depends if they ever plan to

Depends if they ever plan to overhaul the cosmetic system in the future or not. The lack of freedom to tinker with your collection of cosmetics in a non destructive way is a barrier to future-proofing, currently mixing recent items with old ones is horribly non-trivial due to fighting with the rarity issue.

I presume the idea of Community Cosmetics is to promote personal freedom and choices on appearance but the current design is counter to that. Right now if you want to equip something that happens to be rare, then you better make sure you make the right choice, or hold on to it forever in the hope that maybe one day a better use for it will appear - because you probably won't get a second chance.
