Hey there, just wanted to confirm something.

Should you use a charge attack with a fairly long animation (Sudaruska charge, Pepperbox/Blitz charges) and you get hit by something that inflicts stun - you are effectively locked in place for a while. It's incredibly annoying, as it almost guarantees that you will take another hit.

I didn't know if this is a bug or intended, and while I realize that development of content is taking priority over fixing little bugs or balance, it'd be nice to see this either gone or confirmed as a feature right here.

I didn't see another thread on this so I made one, if another thread has already answered this question please point me to it.

The problem isn't some sort of stun lock, rather it is that "reload" period of your weapon that gets extended without a proper animation being played. Find a weapon that makes you unable to move while "reloading" (the magnus line, avenger lines too fall prey) and you get this stun lock. It is not a bug, the stun theory is solid.

The main issue comes with what happens when you get hit with stun. Oh, got hit with stun while charging your weapon? You can't do anything but let go of that attack key of yours so you become vulnerable.

.

Whether it's a bug OR a feature, such occurrences that reduce the general enjoyment of the game must either be reduced or removed for the sake of fun gameplay.

The prolonged stun immobilization is avoidable and it makes you watch out when charging a weapon. Games aren't fun when they are easy as [ahem], there always needs to be some kind of challenge and as this is fairly easy to avoid (You learn from mistakes) it shouldn't be removed. They should make the animation properly align with the duration tho, which it currently does not.
