I bought a new computer just to play SK, I got everything installed and went to do the cake mission, First thing before I got to the mission, I noticed the NPC's names were flickering and the back scarf of my Nameless hat was also flickering, Then i went on the mission and everything was fine until I checked that the whole UI was really weird and bugged, Weapon selection wheel icon, Inventory, Chat, Even steam.

It seems this issue is happening when I alt tab and come back, But I'm not sure, Can anyone help?

Here are a few screenshots:

Sorry if the screenshots aren't that good, I took them after my second cake run that was flawless, Then I alt tabbed and went to AH, then that happend, If I try to take a screenshot when the UI is bugged the game closes immediately.

My specs:

Intel Core i3 3240
4GB Ram
Intel HD Graphics 2500

I am using the latest version of Java 7

I believe any Intel hd integrated graphics before the 3000 series had issues with sk. Try updating to the latest drivers, and if you have a gc switch to it.

Updating the drivers isn't

Updating the drivers isn't possible, Seems Asus doesn't let me update it to the latest version due to all that OEM thing, I guess I'll get a cheap 8400 GS if I can't fix it.

Don't buy the cheapest

Don't buy the cheapest videocard, it's better to buy used card, but not 8400, it was totally derp 5 years ago, imagine how does it work now.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html find 8400 and hd 2000.

I'm kinda out of options

I'm kinda out of options here, This is a casual system that I bought just to be able to play SK before the anniversary event is over, 8400GS is the only option I have here in my city, And this PC doesn't even has a power supply with real Watts, It probably has about 200w.

Yeah I'm getting the 8400 GS

Yeah I'm getting the 8400 GS monday, It's not the best and outdated, But if I can run SK without the UI going bananas, Then I'm satisfied.

Umm, Can anyone just tell me if there won't be any issue/bug/glitch after with the 8400 GS, I mean Specific to that video card? Just want to be sure I'll be free of troubles once It's in.

I don't think it works very well, considering it's low support for openGL. It could barely meet the minimum requirements.

So will I have issues because

So will I have issues because of that? I don't really want anything hindering me of playing, This HD graphics runs the game at 30 fps or so, The 8400GS will probably run it around that right?

EDIT: I was looking around, And how would a GT 610 work instead?

It's better to buy used card,

It's better to buy used card, 610/520 not much better than 8400. Try to find used amd HD4670, 5570, 5670, 6570, 6670, 7730,or nvidia GT 240, 640.

Yes I found a GT 640 I could

Yes I found a GT 640 I could get, The problem is, It seems to consume a maximum of 65w, As opposed to the 30w maximum of the GT 610, I'll ask the guy I bought this computer tomorrow to check what the real Watts of this PSU is, If it's not enough for the GT 640 Guess I'll just get the 610.

EDIT: I just noticed that there's 2 different versions of the GT 640, One with GDDR5 and 1GB and 64 bits that consumes 49w, And the other that is a 2GB DDR3 128 bits that consumes 65w, Which one is the best here?

Memories have the same speed,

Memories have the same speed, something like 1000MHz*4*64bit and 1000MHz*2*128bit. 1GB is enough for that card.

Alright so I'll get the GDDR5

Alright so I'll get the GDDR5 version then, It consumes less so It seems like it'll work on this PC, It won't have issues with SK right?

Phew.

That's a relief, Thanks for helping, I'll talk to the guy about my PSU tomorrow and see what I can do.

I actually also plan to play Warframe on lowest settings here, My monitor has a 1680x1050 Resolution.
