i dont know why yesterday i can play can somebody tell me why?

I currently can't load the game. When it tries to load the client, I get a page saying that I'm experiencing a 503 error. AKAIK, that means the server is overloaded or down for maintenance. What's up with SK?

Edit: More details. I'm not running this with steam, just via the website, and I've tried two different browsers. It was working fine this morning and now I can't get on.

Hey OOO, I have a question, did you guys do something with the Armorgames Client? Every time I try to log into my profile, which is not the account I use for foruming, it tells me that there is an error, and then it says to visit a site, but there isn't anything there that tells me to visit. So, I was wondering if you guys could tell me what's going on, and if I can use the original Spiral Knights downloadable client to use my Armorgames account. Thank you so much~!

I had this issue with my ati4870 but now that I updated my graphics card to gtx680 and the problem still persists. Entering the ready room cranks up the GPU load to 100% for no apparent reason causing eventual overheat with my older card despite 100% fan speed, heavier load than bf3 on maximum settings. Very peculiar, would love to know what causes this. Game itself runs fine and the problem only occurs in the ready room screen

Before you tell me what to do, please see what I've done... I've done pretty much everything imaginable, but here's what happens.

NOTE: This has happened starting yesterday; Monday, September 2nd.

Specifically, it stops at 0% and then gives an error that says: This application has failed to launch due to the following error: Server returned HTTP response code 503 for URL: http://download.threerings.net/spiral/client/getdown.txt

I've tried downloading the actual game client and opening from desktop but I get the same problem. I've verified Java and Java is telling me I have the latest version for my windows 7 laptop. I haven't tried any other options, so recommendations are appreciated, though it looks like a problem on Three Rings' end according to the error message.

I haven't made any changes to my computer, but it seems the problem had fixed itself today. Perhaps my IP address looked funny to Three Rings' servers?

I play SK on a mac, through Kongregate. Since Apple had their Java update removing the internet plugin, I am not able to play the game anymore. I've tried downloading the Java version from Oracle, and the download from the applet runs fine. But when I go to launch the game, after all the "applet authorizations", the SK window pops up, appears and disappears repeatedly, and then stops, the applet and application quitting. I've tried to revert to the older version of java, reinstalling Java 7, restarting my computer, throwing it down the stairs (not really), but it wouldn't fix the problem.

I just downloaded the game yesterday, installed the Tattiebogle.net drive, connected PS3 Controller via Bluetooth, and it worked! Now when I try to play again, the game doesn't recognize my controller (Which is still connected to my Mac), and all the Gamepad options says "none." Please help!!
PS: I am playing on a Macbook Pro Version 10.8.4

I got a brand new super computer, but when I play Spiral Knights, the Dust Bunnies have huge black ears, the same thing happened with my old computer, and the Spookats have an odd ring around their "lips" it only seems to go away when I use compatibility mode, which is something my computer does not need to do! It also seems like when I do that the Bunnies ears disappear, any help?
