I am a returning ground breaker who went MIA over a year ago. It took me awhile to resolve issues getting SK to work again. I thought I would share how I finally managed to get SK properly working on my old computer again in case anyone else might have the same problem.

The Problem
SK client opens and then immediately closes. Attempts to reopen SK from browsers give same results. Attempts to open SK client directly from windows after trying to open SK client from a browser or from windows results in an error message that multiple copies of the client are running...

I've been trying to download the game for a few hours now, and I've searched quite a long time but nothing seems to help. On the homepage, it just stays on 70%, and on rare occasions it goes up to 71%. I download it onto my computer and it goes to about 5% and stops. Can anyone suggest on how to WORK THIS??

The title of the page says "Spiral Knights - English Language Forums" and the contents are indeed those of English forums, but all controls (logout, new, preview, post, my account, etc.) are all in German.

Ok guys, there are a lot of complaints about the long update time, including mine. I tried it again and just waited. That's all you have to do. Just wait and let it go.

When the game is automatically updating it takes a very long time. My download time reaches up to 300 minutes + and when it is finally about to complete after i have waited over an hour at 97% it suddenly says it cannot complete after trying 5 times.

when i start SK up i don't get an option to sign in through steam... so how am i suppossed to play?

Seriously whenever there is a new patch for SK these days , I hold my breath because last 2 patches ( heart of ice mission ) and the new patch for the new bomb didnt download well

And now the new patch is not dowloading -_-

It just dont download it is at 0% and the time remaining is 716:00 minutes O_O

I tried to do the same thing I did with the old patch ( by deleting intro-bundle files in the game files ) but nothing is fixed

Hope someone tell me how to fix it or someone from OOO notice this thread -_-

Instead of making a page full of threads saying that you have troubles with the Spiral Knights Patching, comment here if you are having problems. I am having big problems with the patching after Today's reboot. So comment if you are having trouble patching the game.

Well, I have had the game since the start and never had problems updating the game. Well the newest bomb patch will start updating then the timer will start at about 15min then go upwards to over 2 hours!! I have never had an update take that long. I'm using Mac Lion if that helps you.

I know this isn't much but it would be worth the talk. Well there seems that there is a problem with character shield up speed everytime i fight against the underworld and i defend fast as soon as the item they've thrown contacts my shield i end up dying and I feel like I'm being cheated out of a life when i defend i have speed fingers and i know there is something with this but it might also be the monsters reaction animation but i'm not quiet sure of how this works but there I've said what was needed.
