alright, so i have Spiral Knights through steam, so when i started playing a while back it never prompted me to give a username. it would just login thru steam automatically. right now, i cant login through steam. i bring the game up and im stuck at the user name screen. i have tried username reminder and got steam:*insert random numbers*. i tried that thinking it would work. spiral knights would just close down... im at a loss as to what to do... anyone have a fix for this?

my brother laptop just install Windows 8...... now i cant play SK .....

i can't download the latest patch.. already wait almost 5hour.. usually i only wait for 12-15min only to patching.. but now it take so long..

i dont know if this is a common question, and i tried a search that yeilded nothing, but steam says this game has controller support. what happened to it? my xbox controller does absolutely nothing even from the mapping menu. whats going on here?

...been stuck with this download for quite a few hours now and have been reading posts to see if any of the GMs or admins are responding yet i havent seen one say anything the past 24 hours. What is the point in having a technical issue thread post if nobody is going to read and reply? At least a "Hey we are looking into it." would be quite helpful.

I have been playing SK since April of 2011 and it runs fine on my computer.
About 3 or 4 patches ago, the patches started to take forever to download!
They would normally patch on wednesday, so like everyone else, i would wait till the server reset, then hit "Play" on the website and let the files download, but they would stop at around 70% and just sit there stuck... I would try uninstalling then reinstalling, updating Java, trying different browsers, and all to no avail... I would wait a few hours and try again, still nothing. Stuck at 70%.

Spiral Knights is "special" game.

Its the only game that can crash my computer to the point i have to do hard reset.

It never happens with any of my other games, starting from old games for win 95 that you could expect to run strange in new systems and in 64 bit and ending with newest games running on highest graphics settings like crysis 2, diablo 3 etc.

I was trying to inspect a fellow guild member and the window wouldn't pop-up, I asked my fellow guild member if he could inspect me and it wouldn't work either. He also said that he has the full inspect on so not sure why I can't inspect him right now.

UPDATE: Inspect only seems to work when we are in town, in mission lobby or during a mission can't inspect.
