I don't know what forum section to put this in, so I'll put it here. Basically, my problem is that I run this game on a REALLY small laptop and so the screen is tiny. So tiny that when the news window opens AS SOON AS I START WITH MY CHARACTER I can't close it, so I can't play the game. Help would be appreciated.

Title pretty sums it up. Can't submit bug reports right now, I can take the screen shot if I'm told everything is "working as intended". Sometimes some of the sounds of picking up hearts and health capsules is not registering, same with some block breaking.

Since depth 24-28 in the Coral Phantom gate I, and the rest of my party, have been studdering stanleys every 8-15 seconds. My computer usage is barely above 30% and I've lost 0 packets since I began playing tonight. :(

Ok, this is a really wierd one (or maybe it isn't, and someone already knows about it...)

I restarted my computer and everything i can see my health my energy my map other players in the party but everything in the background is black. My roomate joined my game and its happening to him now to. when we log in were stuck cant message anyone. Please help.

First I though it was a bug but now I have no idea what's going on. I posted on the bug report forum but now I think I should of posted here.

So, I went to dinner a bit before the patch updates and everything was working fine. Got back a few hours later and a couple friends were on a party and tried to invite me. I accepted since we always play together and we're candy hunting. My screen goes black and the server kicks me out. I tried to log back on and it said I couldn't connect to the server.

so i did that and well reinstalling it tells me the same thing. pls help

Not sure if this is the right section but does anyone experience the game to crash frequently in clockworks after the patch?

Hello.
Everytime I login into Spiral Knights I get one of these 3 problems:
1."Failed to connect to the server"
2.Getting to the character screen and choosing a knight and having a "heading to town..." text below and then it loads and I get a black screen and get back to the login menu because I can hear the Spiral Knights login background music.
3.Have a blessing from the God of the Internet and manage to get into the game, but just for a minute or two and I get kicked out to the login screen again...with the error "Connection to server has been lost".

I'm going to be gone on the weekend, and wanted to log in from my friend's pc just to use up the mist crafting. I have two questions:

1. I normally play SK through my steam account. Can I log in to spiral knights without installing steam?

2. Can I run SK directly from a flash drive or SD card? Again, I really don't want to install anything on my friend's PC, and I should only be playing about 5 minutes a day until I get back.
