I used to use an old GeForce 9500 GT and Spiral Knights ran well over 30 FPS. But with my new GTX 560 Ti, Spiral Knights can even barely get past 30 FPS.

It's somehow very strange, I don't know what to do to fix it as all of my other games run much better with this new GPU. I would appreciate any help.

4 GB DDR2
GTX 560 Ti (Latest drivers)
7200 RPM 500GB HDD
Windows XP Professional SP3 32-bit (Up to date)

I've never played this game before.. I just installed it for the first time, and could not log in with steam...so tried making a new account here and logging in with that instead. Each time i get the message "You cannot create any more free accounts from this computer." although no free account was ever created prior to these events

And just so everyone knows...
I DO have the newest version of Java
and have the newest video card drivers
and have windows firewall disabled...
and have the necessary ports forwarded..

I can't seem to log in to spiral knights since last week's updates...
I always get the "Failed to connect to the server" message when the game window has launched.
I tried to dl and install the game (I usually click on 'play' on the website), then also tried to uninstall it and use the website, with no results...

Here are my system specs (usually the game runs fine)...

Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit
Intel Core i3 CPU M330 @ 2,13 Ghz
4,0 Gb RAM.
ATI Mobility Radeon. HD 5470 512MB

Could slow internet connection affect logging in, by any chance?

I'm having a lot of problem regarding steam. specially when i transfer pc or use a rented one.. And i decided to have a non-steam and steam accounts.. I am just wondering if its okay? and if I wont get sanctioned for this.. their both free accounts BTW

Something wrong with the driver of my graphics card? Possibly.

It all began that on that fateful day. The day I found SK downloading the newest patch on my computer. The day when I finally got to play Lockdown.

15th of September to be exact.

As SK had finally finished patching, I happily began to play the newly released PvP mode. Even though I was extremely inexperienced and I barely knew what to do, I still found it incredibly fun to play.

AFAIK it was 11.2, since 11.3 and11.4 has lighting issues and 11.5 freezes every few seconds. Is 11.2 still the best ones right now?

EDIT: My problem here was, the numbers when "patching" the game moved extreeeeeemely slowly. Like, 1% every 20-30mins. (I left it running for over 20 hours but it still wasn't going).
It wouldn't solve, even when inistalling and redowloading the game from steam.

I restarted my computer, and it started to work fine, if any of you are having this problem. C:
