Some people, myself included, have been getting an error along the lines of "Received unexpected end of file from server" when patching.

Looking in the launcher.log reveals something like this:

guys i have a problem with entering ingame with steam. It shows me that error http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/703/2011072600001.jpg/. I restarted steam few times and still it give me the same error. Help please :(:(:(

My following problem is this; as soon as I open SK to play, I'm not into it for even 5 min. that the WHOLE system crashes; it won't respond to anything
and eventually the computer restarts on itself (before doing so the screen blinks and throws me a blue screen with, apparently, the error but doesn't
give me enough time to read what happened). I have checked my system and I have the drivers up-date, latest Java version and the minimum system
requirements for the game to run.

Also, when I'm browsing the forums I have this red banner up which says:

I'm unable to log into Spiral Knights, it keeps saying that it experienced an issue with the Steam client. So I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and still unable to log on.

I would really like to play, but this apparently is stopping me dead in my tracks. Any solutions or help available?

Hi there! Loving the game, and hoping a GM/Mod/Dev/whatever sees this thread and can help..

My main character had gained the Steam Knight Mask due to Steam friend invites to the game. I really like the item, but unfortunately, due to certain.. complications that arose due to things I can't speak of publicly (I'll be happy to share whatever information is needed with someone in charge) I had to delete that character.

So, I quit my game a few hours ago, then started it again and the 'Use Steam Account' checkbox has disappeared. I can no longer log in to my account. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? I have already verified game files, uninstalled the game to no avail.

I have made multiple support requests that my spending limit be lifted, but they aren't saved. When I check "My requests" the whole page is blank, there is nothing there.

Help?

Whenever I try and change instances, the game will freeze (players walking through walls / stop moving) and not let me change.

The same thing happens when I try to move from place to place. EX: trying to go from Haven Arcade to Market

This problem also happens when I try to go down the elevators in the Arcade and below.

Any suggestions? I'm kind of stumped

EDIT: Okay so even weirder, everything works on a new character I made, but not my original :S

Double EDIT: So I take that back. this is a problem between all characters. I'm reinstalling the game right now.

I just installed the game from steam and every time i try to log on it says im disconnected to the server anyone help me?
