i have enabled steam over-lay for spiral knights but it doesn't work!! i try to buy energy but it still don't work! somebody help me please!

Whenever i try to go to haven it just shows a black screen.

SK works fine, I can play missions and do everything else, but when I try to go to Haven it is just a black screen. I've tried re logging into steam, Logging on and off of spiral knights and have even let it sit there for a couple of hours, but nothing happened.

Yesterday night, I was playing SK fine, until it stopped launching correctly this morning. I'm trying to log onto my SK on the actual SK window, (not steam) and it freezes for about a minute, and informs me that it failed to connect to the server, and this happens every time I try to log on.
I don't know what went wrong, I restarted my Macbook Pro, and I installed a new version of SK, and still nothing.

*edit*
After many failed attempts of logging on, it now does not freeze, instead it just tells me it fails to connect to the server after every time I click the log on button.

So... I'll let you tell me what this is...

It appears as though a mess forms on my screen where the ground disappears and it only shows the background. This is very game breaking... could someone explain this?

I am using a 4k display with an nvidia gtx 960m.

So I had just leveled up my seraphynx and shortly after I was disconnected from the game. When I logged back on I saw that my seraphynx was back to level 14 but it had still used the catalyst, any way to fix this?

I'll try to be as detailed as possible. So basically my PC broke down and I got a technician to transfer all my files to a new computer. He did so by moving the hard drive from one computer to the other. The new computer has two hard drives now, the new one being C: and my old one being renamed E:. Now the old hard drive still has all my files, steam, spiral knight everything (I use Spiral knights with steam btw). I opened Steam and updated everything but now when I try to run Spiral knights, it doesn't load even though it said everything updated correctly.

I had opened three frosty presents before this trade and got a windup key, a shoulder booster, and a headlamp. SK please fix this, this is not fair at all that our stuff can just get deleted. http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/113019

Whenever I play SK, it runs smoothly for a few minutes, then all of a sudden, it closes. This always happens, there is no set location for it to happen. Someone help me please.
