I open the steam version, I uncheck both boxes, I type in my Username and Password, and no luck. It keeps telling me I've been disconnected from the game server. I use Windows 7.

everytime i try to open the game it shows an error.

I'm a computer science student, and I tried to launch Spiral Knights. Much to my dismay, the game launched with a black screen. So I found a log file within the Application Support folder and went from there:

Our friend D0gr0ck has found a potential fix to some problems with the Steam client; he has posted it in this thread on the SK Steam forum.

His first post says:

howeverm when i tried to logon on with my steam account it told me 'YOU CANNOT CREATE ANYOME FREE ACOUNTS ON THIS COMPUTER.

i dont want my previous account anymore. I am rdy to spend on CE. But it is on steam.

Whenever I join a party lobby (the room with the lift), the game window randomly disappears, and I am unable to reopen the game without ending the process through Task Manager and restarting it. If I play the game in fullscreen, the game just freezes instead of the window disappearing.

Ok so, whenever I try to start the game through steam it says "Launching game.." for about 3 seconds, then it just closes down and does nothing.

When I launch the game it pops up with a black window for 0,5 seconds and then it's quits by itself. No error messages or anything. Already tried the steps in the sticky with same results.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285
Driver ver: 275,33
4 GB RAM.
Seagate 1 TB Hardrive 7200rpm
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

i have it on steam and it meets the requirements but when ever i click play it makes a full screen window that's all black then it exits can anyone help me with this problem?

It opens for a few seconds and then closes right away. I don't know what to do.
