Hi,im new and whenever i try to start the game it loads but it doesnt show the launcher it shows a black screen and after 5 secs the black screen dissapears.What should i do?Heres my pc :o

I can't seem to even load up the game anymore. It says fatal exception occured. I installed an uninstalled it plenty of times, and get the same thing every time. :(

On my main account, I had both Crystal Energy and Mist energy on my main Knight. I logged into another account, and I noticed that all my energy disappeared. I'm aware that energy is shared between accounts, but that doesn't account for all the energy I no longer had. When I switched back to my main character on my first account, all of his CE was gone as well as his Mist Energy. Also, when I make a new character, he starts with no energy. Can I please get some help with this?

Hi, I'm trying to get my gamepad to work in Spiral Knights. It's a standard, wired Microsoft Xbox 360 controller, plugged into a USB port. It seems to be working properly, Windows tells me it is and it works in other games, but I can't get it to do anything in Spiral Knights. The wiki says it should work automatically after plugging it in, but as far as I can tell SK doesn't even detect it; it won't let me move, map keys to its buttons, etc.

Anyone have any ideas? If it matters, I'm running Windows 7 Home 64-bit.

Hello !

I noticed that SK goes totally crazy if I add 10 seconds to my system clock while playing.
(Mobs are flying, teleporting everywhere, totally unplayable...)
I'm running an automatic clock time synchronization system ; and it causes me troubles...

Someone could explain me this behaviour ?
Should all time sync systems be turned off ? (I think most computers periodically synchronize clock time...)

When I click on the "play" link, java loads then displays this error:

"The application has failed to launch due to the following error: Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://download.threerings.net/spiral/20110415013205/digest.txt"

I've tried downloading the client and the same error comes up as soon as I launch. In both cases it says "0% complete" for all it's worth. Is this a server issue? My java is completely up to date.

I just installed the game yesterday, and I've read up on the jelly texture issue, but mine goes a bit further.

Going full screen seemed to crash my game so I came here to the forum to find some solutions. Sadly the solution with the registry keys didn't work. I found the solution however. I figured out it was not the game's fault but the application Java.

You have to update Java by going to www.java.com

This fixed my problem

I frequently have issues loading dungeons. After finishing a level or joining a game I am sometimes greeted with either a black screen or a loading screen which won't move. After these incidents I am usually forced to wait at the login screen with the "Heading Home" message. After returning to the game I find that my energy is consumed.

Here are my specs:

I have a 1 mbps connection, this issue occurs when I am wired to my router.
All drivers are up to date.

To anyone who can help : I've been looking forward to spiral knights for quite some time. I just got done downloading it. (The current date is Sunday, April 17th) i have completely downloaded the game to a full 100% but whether i try to start it from the desktop or the website I get the same results. It opens for a couple of seconds. But all that shows up is a plain black screen ( with the border , minimize icon, maximize icon etc.) . Then after a few seconds the program closes. If i try to start it back up it repeats the same thing.
