Today there was a new mission update. I turned my PC on and click on spiral knights and it wont open. When i click on it again the multiple instances window comes on. I waited several minutes for the window to open but it wont. Please help.

The game client constantly closes for no apparent reason and it's really bugging me. I can go back to what I was doing before once I restart the client, but after the game client closes my knight is still vulnerable to attack. This has caused me to unnecessarily use sparks of life on multiple occasions. Is there a fix for this? BTW, I am opening it from Steam if it makes any difference.

Hello internet stranger!

I've played Spiral Knights on my Macbook Pro for a few years now, and have only very recently run into this strange problem. Its never happened to me before, and only started to happen after I updated the client after a few months. When I open Spiral Knights, it gives me a message saying:

"We are unable to to connect to our servers to download the game data."

Fair enough, I uninstall and reinstall the game. I open it up to see if its working, and... Same message. I read the rest of the message, and this is where I start to get confused.

I have a high-res dell laptop and some applications don't support the resolution setting, so they come out blurry, and I know how to fix that. (By right clicking>properties>compatibility>disable display scaling on high DPI settings.)

But the thing is, there's no compatibility tab under the properties of this game so I can't change the resolution settings. Is there another way to do it?

I just needed some help. I was fiddling with java and did something. Now when i open spiral knights a window opens which says, "problem with shortcut".
It says-"The item 'java.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut?". Pleaseh help.

Whenever I load up the first stage of the firestorm citadel, I get a black screen. I was, at one point (years ago) able to play just fine and load up the level. However, for the longest time now it's been busted. Now this doesn't happen on any other floor except for floor one of the citadel. To do vana runs I've had to wait for the party to complete floor 1 with 3 people, then have me join once they reach the next floor. As you can imagine, this is highly obnoxious.

Due to this recent update, my game has a woopsie in it right now. The problem is the game was stuck at updating at 70%, with 6000 minutes, I went to restart the launcher, the game said 4000 minutes remaining, I attempted to verify the cache too, nothing happened. Is there a way to fix this?

When I try to open up SK, the screen turns black as if it's actually going to open up the game, but about a second later the screen goes back to my desktop, then back to the black screen, then back to my desktop, then back to the black screen, then back to my desktop, then back to the black screen, then back to my desktop, then back to the black screen, then back to my desktop, then back to the black screen, then back to my desktop, then back to the black screen, then back to my desktop, then back to the black screen, and then back to my desktop.

if i open spiral knights it was written :folder [...] is deleted or moved
i only install newest java and now i can't run the game

I started playing Spiral Knights with my friend. It was going great until about 5 days ago, where the server started to disconnect me at random spasms occuring about every 5 minutes. It appears to affect my entire Internet, not just my game. I like to play Spiral Knights while Skyping my friend; when Spiral Knights disconnects, it also drops the Skype call. If I close Spiral Knights, Skype 'magically' reconnects, and everything is fine again. I love playing this game, but I can't enjoy it with the constant disconnects.
