I've suffered FPS issues on this game ever since sprites have been added and now I'm determined to find the best config to allow me to play at a decent frame rate.

Here are my specs:

System Model: Inspiron N4010
Processor: Intel Core i3 CPU M380 @ 2.53GHz (4 CPIs), ~2.5GHz
Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
Video Card: Intel HD Graphics
OS: Windows 7

Here is my current extra.txt config (I honestly slapped most of this stuff on from threads back in 2011-2012, I really don't know what any of this means). I'm however playing the game without the config:

-Xms4G
-Xmx4G
-XX:+UseParallelGC

Something really weird occurred with my connection earlier during an fsc run
Normally i connect using ip and it connects to US which gives me a red bar of connection (I don't get much lag)

I'm having the issue again where my client fails to log-in into a D/C'd knight. TAT Currently my body resides in FSC trying to reconnect to my soul. But to no avail... I can't get back inside it again. Well I had to force my client to D/C from my knight as I was having freezing issues due to a framelimiter being active. My Gaming PC conflicts with framelimiters for some reason so I had to turn it off. On my way back it came back into my mind: "Oh... I... D/C'd at FSC..." and to my horror yes, yet again. I fail to log back in the game when I try to.

I'm not really sure what is the problem 'cause I was playing the game just fine a couple of days ago then suddenly this happened. I already reinstalling both Java and Spiral Knights but it's still the same thing.

Like, whenever I click on it, my screen just flashes and it's like changing revolution in each flash then nothing happens.

I also looked for an error code and this is what I got:

In short when i try to start this mission(new to SK barely even started playing) I wind up simply getting a black screen, doesn't seem to matter if i try to join a party for it or go solo, both result in black screen that never ends. Tried changing server from detect by ISP to USA, didn't help. Thoughts?

This is not happening to me, but with a friend of mine. Anyways, while trying to start spiral knights via steam, she gets the login screen, gets char selection and after a few secs it crashes to desktop. No Spiral knights is not working message, or any message, at most an update message from steam, as if it had shutdown normally. Halp?

Hi id just like to know if there was a way to enlarge the amount of area displayed on my SK window not enlarge the whole thing all together but like how when you toggle zoom it gives a better view is there a way to do this permanently

as in ive seen some people who have larger view of the area surrounding them but the window frame is still the same as mine (or this could be because of the position their standing in or just maybe even just me lol)

would i just need a bigger monitor?

or is it the same for all?

also what display size is best to reduce lag?

For some reason, the desktop and taskbar icons on my computer stopped working about three days ago.
For previous problems, I just deleted out the icons and removed SK from the computer for reinstalling. A similar problem with an error message happened once before, and a patch soon after (a day maybe?) fixed it. Then all was well.

Alright so i just built a gaming rig like yesterday and after i installed drivers and windows 7 updates (including service pack 1) i boot sk and for some reason when i left click screen it flashes. i was playing before on this computer and the problem didnt happen, now it does idk why. before i had a thermaltake 600w psu and 4gb of ram, but that didnt cut it so i went and bought a corsair tx650 enthusiast psu and 8gb of kingston hyperx blu ram so that rules out memory and psu weakness, i got the windows fully patched and updated so windows is ruled out.

The game is skipping... I call it mini d/cs, but I don't know what it is.

Details:
It only happens during a run... not in Haven, not anywhere else, just on a run.
It seems to skip the animation of monsters etc as if they were put on pause... other players end up running off the map like I was d/ced.
I can keep moving during the skip and it doesn't bounce me back once the skip is done.
It's only been happening since the Memory Leak Patch... not a day sooner or later.
It's not my connection...
