Materials used: 2 cardboard rings, a bunch of wool, durable string, peach colored paper for an origami beak, one side red one side white paper for an origami santa hat, 2 googly eyes, 1 tiny ball of fluff for the santa hat and of course, glue.
Before using the colored paper to make the santa hat and the beak, i've tried making them with white paper and of different sizes, to see which would fit the snipe better.

Edit: added a date on the last picture: http://imgur.com/iFkqOeI
I apologize that there are no dates on the pictures because i was rushing to get this done. I did the sculpting on 18.12., glued the santa hat on on 19.12 and the felting today, 20.12.
Also there are two final display links because i didn't take the in-progress pictures correctly. And I thought that it would be a good idea to take two pictures of the finished product from different angles.
It's supposed to be a Seraphynx (Tabby) with a santa hat on. This is my first time sculpting anything so please don't be too harsh...
I made the ornament by sculpting it from styrofoam and then felting. It originally had 2 ears but i had to cut the left one off in order to fit the santa hat on. I had to glue the hat on and the ball at the end because it fell off.
Materials used: Styrofoam, 2 different knives for sculpting, wool, felting needle, glue.

Note: Instead of a pipe, he is holding a pencil which he uses to decide which knight is naughty or nice. :^)
'Noder Note: I have learned that folding paper into a box is VERY hard... You have been warned!

This Deadly Candy Poker is not only decorative, but also edible! (candy canes sold separately) Owners of this ornament are able to switch out the candy cane thanks to the structure of the hilt, so you can enjoy your sweet pepperminty snack and fend off enemies at the same time. The more you lick it, the more effective it'll be when piercing enemies. That is, providing that you're not just biting off the ends of the candy cane. No, why are you doing that? Stop, that's not how it's suppose to work! Nooooo!

Personally, I think it looks better hanging from a mantel (because the tree we used was too cluttered)

Many unforeseen consequences made this a tad more challenging than I first thought... But hey, it hangs on a tree! (If this is late, I apologize! The wiki says that the time runs off of San Fransisco time, but I may have overlooked the time change when SK moved to Grey Havens.)
