I like it, is soothing... and cool has nothing to do with slumber and the set is NONE of those...
Not Your cup of tea? understandable...
Issue with the Quilted and Starlit Demo set
What is the theme? It's not Slumber, and it's not Cool either... it's some sort of ugly faded version of both mashed together that just looks ugly with everything
Mechanically speaking it's fine, but aesthetically I can't for the life of me understand why you didn't just keep it Cool themed or make it legit Slumber themed instead of some ugly variant
There's probably some other gear that needs to be looked at in terms of cosmetic compatibility. Mercurial is "technically" Volcanic, but would fare way better with some of it's own chrome themed accessories, and then you have stuff like Mad Bomber which are "Rusty" themed and haven't had any accessories put in their color, meanwhile we've got enough time to make stuff for all of the birthstones and status effects.... not to say I don't like them, I'm just asking for some gaps to be filled before you inject another new color scheme in
I may be missing the mark, but I think those two armour sets came out before any of the Slumber-themed lockboxes did, since I've definitely noticed that they're definitely way less neon-y and it makes looking for same-themed accessories for them pretty darn hard, and if my memory of box releases is correct, the success of various Tech-Themed cosmetics may've lead to Slumber being just as bright whilst the original two equipment pieces weren't meant to be by design.
I think it's an unfortunate case of two different themes introduced at different times, but they're meant to be the same and it's really abrasive. The easy option would be to just update the Starlit Mail and Hunting stuff to be in line with Slumber, but I personally enjoy the two armour sets how they are as they feel aesthetically diegetic with every other armour in the game and that they expand on the theme more. Out of all the Cosmetic-centric themes, I think only Shadow has been able to escape it with the Snarbolax and Shade armour sets. I may have missed some other exceptions though.
tangent-note though, there's definitely some odd choices with theming though, since the Quicksilver armour as a whole jumps between three different themes per upgrade (Toasty -> Heavy -> Volcanic), and there's realistically no easy way any Divine cosmetics are matching the Kat Eye stuff as it lacks the gold that Divine's primarily made of. Naturally...I don't think some of this can be fixed easily.
As far as the design of the armor goes, I like that it severely deviates from the other Demo sets, since all the rest are effectively identical except for Mercurial Demo... even Mad Bomber is just the same Demo design with a free mohawk
Even as far as the color scheme goes I don't hate it, I just hate the fact that nothing else in the game lines up with it, so you're stuck having to use Prismatic or other expensive and un-themed items
It would definitely be an extremely appreciated fix if it was aligned with the Slumber theme or something similarly colored to it's existing palette
Diamond, Tech Azure, Shadowtech blue, Aquamarine, Turquoise, Sapphire, Glacial, Polar, Frosty.... anything bluish could work out
But please fit it somewhere
