Imagine giving the winmil charge the power to 'blow' out shadow fire in FSC, C42, etc. It's so underpowered right now.

I would ask them to buff it, but so many people have asked, and Three Rings hasn't done it in three years. I don't even think they remember it exists.

The Spur line is extremely difficult to do 'right', and I seriously doubt it could ever be balanced perfectly- but it'd certainly be fun!
It's a combination of a sword and a gun; if it's worse than either at their own jobs, then nobody would use it because of weapon slots' existence.
If it's equal or greater than them at their own jobs, nobody would use anything else... It'd have to be able to deal comparable damage on normal attacks that also have their shots connect, and slightly lower damage on attacks that only use the disc... but you also need to consider that it pins you in place while you're attacking...

It's fun, but it needs a buff (even if it was upgraded in to 5*) to be a truly viable weapon.
It is doomed to the land of rarely used weapons (like the cautery sword, and heavy deconstructor), a pity as this one has such nice mechanics.
