I don't know why OOO hasn't added this yet, but my idea is that when you throw a water ball (those things used to put out dark fire in fsc) at a Slag Walker, it would turn it into a Dust Zombie. Very simple .-.

lots of reasons.
it doesn't make sense. they're not on fire, they're made of fire.
water on fire produces dust?
it's a thing only in FSC.
even then it wouldn't make such a big change because seriously, they are slags.
the levels they are in are fire themed, not stun themed.
They would have to be spawned like how devilites switch what kind of enemy they are, which means they would gain full health again.
The concept is okay, but it just doesn't sound viable.
It would be very interesting to see status effects do a little more than they're advertised against more monsters. Currently, only certain kinds of Jellies and Lichen do, and arguably Almirian Crusaders and Kats if you're counting Stun.
Cooling off a Slag Walker with Freeze to make it a Dust Zombie, then abusing its new weakness to Fire, for example, would be pretty fun.
Thunder-the-bright: the dust zombie is its "neutral form", if there was a zombie that didn't produce any status type then it should turn into that, but there isn't. So that means that the Dust Zombie is its neutral form.
Fangel, OOO Could make like they did with ice cubes, but instead making when water balls hits slag walkers, it will turn in a dust zombie different from the original one, but with the same sprite, keeping the name.
The idea itself is good, but wouldn't that mean freeze zombies would turn in normal under the effect of ash of agni or the fire balls of owlite castle? Anyways, i liked the idea and think it's a very creative way to have a help, since water fountains aren't that common in FSC and they don't spawn outside of it (not counting c42)

However the second thing you said about the freeze themed zombies shouldn't work. Because water isn't a status condition, those water balls are just projectiles used to put out fire, just like there are fireballs to light candles. The ash of agni wouldn't turn freeze zombies into dust zombies because that is a weapon, and those water balls are just projectiles.
im not so sure on the idea but if it was implemented,
would it work in reverse though? like lighting up a dust zombie would turn them to slags etc... maybe it could work in certain levels that are themed with the same status
Well The only places (that I know of) where you can find fire balls are the candlestick keep levels, and maybe some missions. But I think that it should not work in reverse.
Well, when you throw one of those fire balls at an enemy, it doesn't set it on fire, even though it is a FIRE ball. However it is different with the water ball, there is no water status in this game. So instead of suggesting a water status, (Which would take forever to come out due to messing around with the elevator rotation) I instead suggested to turn Slag Walkers Into Dust Zombies by throwing water at them
I just realized, why does an ice cube's (ice jellies) ice melt if you set it on fire, but when you throw a water ball at a slag guard, it doesn't turn into a dust zombie (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
