I'm sure this has probably been suggested before, and probably many times, but I for one have better things to do with my time than go through the entirety of the suggestion forum to see if it's been suggested. So, I'm just going to suggest it myself.

A Chat Filtration System

Many popular MMOs have this option, and I'm honestly surprised that SK hasn't implemented one yet. Anywho, time and time again my chat windows is bombarded with things from public chat, zone chat, guild chat, tells, etc., and it really gets quite annoying to have to constantly scroll up and down through the chat window -- being as small as it is -- just to find the message or tell that I may have missed.

I feel the chat should have tabs, and the tabs would be something like "Guild" or "Public", and only allowing you to see messages that correlate to the tab that you're currently in. I feel this would help a lot when Haven(s) get crowded with players.

I guess, if you support my idea, just add your comment and any improvements to my idea you may have.

Yes.

This has been suggested before, and we all pretty much want it.

I would recommend having there be tabs, but default the chat to "ALL", such as our current chat on launch. We could then change tabs accordingly, and maybe even have a notification if someone sends us a tell while we're in guild chat. (Think: A color-coded exclamation point above the tab, similar to the forge one) Have those notifications be toggle-able in options, in the same area as the set-player-name-visibility options are in. (Forgot their location)

Yeah, that sounds like a good

Yeah, that sounds like a good expansion to my original suggestion.

Hopefully we'll see this implemented soon.
