Hello .. I have a suggestion about guild halls (it's long). I know that there have been tons of suggestions about this topic, so hopefully this one wont bump into any previous ones.
Lets rebuild the guild hall, yes, throw all the old guild halls away and start with a new, better guild system. This is how the new one will work:
-Guild hall will be established into different floor, or depths: depth 0,1,2 .. all the way to 29.
-Every new guild (just created) will be given from depth 0-4, or a whole stratum 1. After that, by extending membership, the guild hall will be expanded by more depths.
-Each floor has a limited area, not so crampy but not too large (i cant describe how large it is actually, but the more spacious the better, maybe the same size as reactor lockdown map). The layout of each floor will be pre-arranged (all alike)by devs, or will be left empty and are arranged with wall and blocks by guild master.
-Each floor has an elevator. The elevator is pre-arranged and can be used to travel instantly between floors by select the floor you want to get to.
-Guild masters can decides which floor will be available to members of which rank, which floor will be private. Guild master can decide at which floor weapons are allowed, and player can take dmg from other players.
-Guild Dojo (was suggested a lot before, i think it's good actually):
+allow weapon use.
+allow mob spawning at large number for trainning new players.
+allow setting traps and blocks. Traps can be free or have to be purchased like furniture.
+allow pvp boosts/shields, player can damage player.
-Energy fountain/generator (whatever you want to call it): Since not much people willing to put energy into a well just so that someone else can take it for free, how about providing service for entire guild. Basically, if guild masters purchase this fountain, each week, a large amount of crown will be removed from the guild treasury. But in return, all members will receive free energy daily. Devs will (as always) get to decide the price. It will be counted into weekly upkeep, wont be cheap.

New Guild vs Guild mode: I would call it 'Guild Raid'. Overall: One guild attack another's guild hall, try their best to advance from depth 0 to the final deepest floor and take away all the precious fund down there, while the other guild will fight till their last sparks to defense their storage, furnitures etc..
-Starting a guild raid: a guild master will send a challenge to another guild master directly (like how you trade). If both agree, the raid will begin. And the offensive guild will have access to the defensive guild's floor 0.
-Guild raid will take place at the defensive guild's guild hall.
-After the raid is started, the challenge guild will start forming a team of maxium 6 fighters by having their member join the defensive guild hall depth 0. They are granted a large amount of ticket for combat (maybe 1000 or any number)
-When the attack team is ready they will get on the elevator (maybe make a bigger elevator), advance to depth 1. All the members of defense team currently at depth 1 will be set into combat mode, they are allowed to change weapon at arsenal station if their guild master has purchased one. The attack team cant change weapon though.
-The defensive guild will set up their defense force by having member join the depth where enemies are currently at. Each floor can only has 12 people at max, 6 attackers max and 6 defenders max. If the floor has the maxium numbers of fighters, no more people can join in. The defense guild can send members anytime, but the attackers can only add fighters after they win at a floor.
-How people will fight:
+Deathmatch mode (within a limited time, like 3-5 mins/floor, you choose) with pvp boost/shields or not (you get to choose, or devs will choose for you), but a gvg with striker, guard and recon is much more familar to people (just saying). The team reduce enemy's ticket to zero win. The offense team has a very high amount of tickets at the beging of the raids, but they wont get a ticket refill after a match at each floor. The defense team, on the other hand, has much less tickets (like 30-40) each floors, but they will get all the tickets back if the offense team manages to beat them up and get to the next floor.
+Classic lockdown (mini map version): 1 control point in the middle of the floor. I dont think this part though yet, but well, maybe later.
+Capture the energypod: A random energypod will spawn somewhere in the area. The attackers try to snatch it and bring it back to their safe zone, the other team do just the same. For each energy pods snatched and delivered successfully, each member of the team will receive 5-10en (you choose). Match ends when the attackers (yes, just the attackers, i want the raid to last longer) snatch enough pods (can be from 10-20 pods, you choose, devs choose, or it will be RNG when attackers arrive at the floor).
-When successfully deafeat the defense force at a floor, the attackers can advance to the next floor. Between each fights, each team will be given some time to rearrange their attack/defense force (by changing players and equipments)
-For each knights die during the fights, the other team will receive 5 points for their guild in guild Leadersboard. For successfully invading a floor, the offensive guild will receive 3k-5k-7k crown into their treasury/guild storage, 100 points in Leadersboard. The reward will increase if they can reach more floors (deeper down), big reward if they reach the last floor or when they force the other team to give up.
-Each knights killed during the fight, they will drop loot for the other team (about 10-20crown, some heat if needed, even random material, or even rarities if devs are generous your pick)
-During a guild raid, each member (of both guilds) can only be allowed to take part in the fight at maxium 5-7 floors (this limit can be extended by some guild upgrade, will come up with some later). After joining enough fights, the best they can do are spectating and cheer for their team (whatever they want).
-This is kinda important: The terrain of the battlefield will be exact the same as the original floor layout. Yes, i want to defense team to come up with some tactics or something like that, since they can pre-arrange the battlefield as they wish. They can even put status traps, spike traps (if possible) .. It would be awsome if furniture can be damaged during the fights, and after the fight (not permanently, they will be restored automatically later, i guess ?) until they are restored. Of course normally, a floor will be arranged to look, and to be used for guild activities, or simply decorated to look good. It does not have to be a full battlefield 24/7, guild hall is a place to get together as well, not just for battling.
-Winning and losing: A guild raid can only last for a limited amount of time, from 30 mins-3 hours (idk), or until the 1 team gives up, or when the offense team reaches the last floor of defense team guild hall.
+If the defense team can reduce the attackers' ticket to zero, than they will win and gain a lot of rewards as well as points for anyone who involved in the battle (the more they involve, the more reward for them).
+If the attackers can advance to the last floor within the given time, or force the other team to give up, then they are winners.
+If a team runs out of fighters (no more guild members available for guild defense), they lose.
+If time's up, the team with more tickets remain wins.
-Winning team will receive reward (serious reward, not 280/ 336 crown per player) into their guild treasury, and also receive reward for each individual who attended guild raid.
-Losing team takes penalty: they gain little points, have some crown (about 10-20k to 100k, depend on how big a guild they are) removed from their guild storage, and any attackers who fight will receive a small reward for playing (you know, instead of the big reward for winning)
So for short, anyone play guild raids will receive loot for their effort, just as much as pve or even more. (see, then they wont complain pvp being useless anymore). And maybe we will get the veteran players something more interesting to do.
*Also note that this gvg mode will sucks horibly using the current guild hall (the layout is just too narrow, or just bad for any fighting)

Guild Allience
-this http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/103008 I think this is pretty good actually.
-Member from the guilds in an allience can take part in each other's guild raid. They wont have to switch guild anymore, they can just join if invited.
-Some people already asked for guild crest/symbol, how about allience crest symbol too.
-Guild master network: Basically, when someone create a guild and become a guild master, their name will be listed in this list. Guild masters may contact each other through this 'network' to challenge, or start allience or whatever you can think of a guild master's business. This network can be access through guild hall in garison i think.

Guild hall under protection (a raid-free time): they wont do any raiding or will be attacked by other guild. You know what this is for. This will activated if the guild has too few fund, or recently have been under lots of attack already. Guild master can choose to activate this if the guild is not ready for attack in a few days, weeks. After being activated, it cant be activated again after a while (maybe 1,2 weeks)
Guild are allowed to raid a limited number of time per month (maybe ?)

That's all for now. Bunch of more ideas can have a go if this one ever make it to devs' board (i doubt it, at least in the next 5 years). Does it sound good ? Anything wrong ? Since English is not my first language, i hope you dont think i type this while being sleepy or sorta (although i did).

This reminds me of the Build a gym, from pokemon OR and AS, The Guild makes a tough clockworks area and the other guild must get through, Pretty neat.
