Prismatic Chapeau is pretty much endgame chapeau. Why have more than one when you can just have a Pris one with prismatic accessories?
These new (gen 3?) gemstone variations are all nice, but not very... Backwards compatible? If that makes sense?
Everyone liked the Halloween events, and Garnet's colors match Hallow accessories.
Cue everyone putting Hallow accessories on Garnet.
You can say the same happened to the Moonstone set, but not as many people ran Save Winterfest last year, so not too many Frosty accessories to put on Moonstone.
It's interesting to see even more of the Rose items. We've got plenty of colours now. I can only imagine how much the Prismatic set will be in the coming weeks and months.
I think I've found a Chapeau that I really like now. The Citrine Chapeau looks to good to pass up on.
Hope I can save up enough Crowns for Moonstone Tabard/Chapeau over the next two weeks. I have only 100k to my name right now.
I went with a box and got a Prisma Tabard, I'm a chosen one!
Anyhow, the "Backwards compatible" thing, it more ends up because of the fact that they're two new styles: Stun and Curse.
Just gonna throw this in here. ^_^ The Rose Regalia Returns
I hope the Moonstone Rose pieces don't become any more expensive then they are right now, 300k a piece. Hopefully they're as common as the Yellow/Red/Green ones.
I find the amethyst ones to be quite the eye catching piece of costume. I'd like prismatic, but anything lower than 3% is something i'll never see in my inventory without about 100 dollars spent.
Each Rose Regalia Returns Prize Box also includes a random number of confetti items
I'll be expecting hundreds of confetti items when I open a box thank you very much.
What are the chances of each piece of Rose when you open a box?
I've never been a fan of this Rose stuff. It just doesn't look good to me. No matter what color, even prismatic. I would only wear it if I wanted to boast my insane amounts of money. Which I never do.
This is a promo I must pass.
I just don't think rose stuff looks good on me. It can look great on other people, but for whatever reason whenever I get my hands on any set it just turns into a gross pile of ick.
Would you just look at that: another promo that I can't afford to get in on. How delightful.
They've added some more built-in decorations to the tabards - the old ones too, not just the new ones. I'm pretty sure this happened with the intro of the amethyst/citrine/pris, but it could have happened before without me noticing. Anyway... There's long flaps of fabric that sway in the wind attached to the back of the shoulders. These were not there with the non ame/cis/pris colors of Tabards initially. My thoughts?
I like this change. It makes the tabard more in-sync with the chap - the feather on the chap also looks like it's swaying in the wind. Windy hero wind! But that's not the point.
IMO, in general, once an item is released (that's purely aesthetic, anyway) its form, color shading, and so on should never be changed. Stats of course can change as needed. Aesthetics is the focus here. Reason being - people might buy an item for one specific reason, or a few, just depends on the person. Money and time is spent designing an outfit, based on w/e factor(s) that individual decided to like. Change something, and you might totally bust up the plans, and render the money/time/effort worth...a little less to that individual.
Yes it's OOO's property, ideas, and their right to change things like this. But in general, doing something like this is just not a good idea. In general. In geeeeeeneral.
What happens if a game doesn't change things like this? An idea might never be "what it was meant to be" in the eyes of the devs - well, just release a different form under a similar name...Some terminology disconnections could happen, nothing more. Like what we saw with "ancient" accessories, "serene" costumes...and...the "old" ancient plate mail/helm/shield art. Very different visuals for things that are kinda...the same in name. But they didn't change the old ancient plate coloring to match the new coloring of the stuff from the Ancient Prize Box. Hmmm. I feel like they're testing the waters then, perhaps, with this tabard change. So I'm throwing this opinion out there.
Example of outrage: another game did something similar, but FAR more drastic. Warframe's recent Gamma color changes. Oh dear lord. For those familiar with Warframe, I'm very certain that you were affected (and probably didn't care as much as those on the warframe forums) by that hotfix. The fuss about this change eventually led to a retro option, thankfully. I don't like fuss. I don't like being around fuss.
Back to SK - Make a new subtype instead. OR - have the option for players to convert between old and new, via a "show additional built-in decorations" bar or something.
Anywho...
TL;DR - I like the new shoulder flaps, but changing the looks of something after it's released (especially after so long) is just not a good idea in general.
All I have to say is this:

well the prismatic set its kinda "smart" at least this time the chapeu dont have <1% and now its 1% of chance... well i guess only the choosen ones will get them :P
