So I recently went to a wedding, and I got to thinking... World of Warcraft has an ingame feature in which you can Marry another player.

While this won't go quite as far this prize box would have 3 sets of costumes.

Flower Knight (various color Cutlets with skirts and Spiral Tailed helms with flowers in them) and Ring Guardian sets (various colored plate mail sets with the plate edges lined in silver) would be the most common.

Bridesmaid sets would be various themed Angelic sets, Groomsmen sets would be various themed tuxedo costumes.

The Bride set would be a very white angelic set (like the white from the lovely set) and it would be trimmed in gold.
The Groom set would be a Black Tuxedo (Black like Snarby) and would be trimmed in Silver.

There would be an Shield reskin of the Royal jelly shield (black jelly and shinier silver crown recolor) and the Dragon scale shield (white shield base and the spikes would be bluish and semitransparent like diamonds)

Accessories include:

gold and silver Tiaras
Bowties (are cool (and other color themed))
Corsages (themed)
Two Auras one silver and one gold based on the blossom aura minus the flowers following you.

Furniture:
An active Love puppy that shoots hearts at anyone that goes into that particular guild room.

Ya know what? This isn't bad.

I kind of like this, but I sure don't want marriages in this game. Another thing is this: We don't need to give OOO more promo ideas than they already have. Though something fairly new instead of a recycled theme would be nice. I especially like the working gun puppy.
A twist on the dragon scale shield that looks cool (possibly very shiny:D) is a good idea as well.

I wouldn't mind a marriage item in game, like the "Something Special For Someone Special" in Team Fortress 2. Sure, it's cheesy and half the time the person getting married is a trader to their buddy that happens to want a fifty dollar virtual ring declaring the two... well... VERY good friends.. rofl. But it could be sort of cute, if people are really into that sort of thing. I mean, I certainly won't be getting married in Spiral Knights, but it isn't like people couldn't hold a mock-wedding in game.

As for OP's suggestion, bowties, black+white+silvery shields etc. sound like something I'd want, if only I were a "whale" on the prowl instead of some college student.

This is going overboard on SK dress up no offense.

True, SK has been putting out a fair amount of costumes, though many have been recolors and repatterns of old models. Even the gremlin armor (from what I hear) are old models that just haven't been released till now.

These are a mix of recolors, old models with added parts, and new models entirely. I am glad SK is implementing new items but putting them in limited time boxes that rarely appear and giving them horribly low drop rates is a bad way to get out your new stuff into the game.

Also I'm not suggesting that marriages be put in this game..... just costumes

At first, I saw this thread and thought 'what on Cradle is this...' and than I read it. I like it. I agree that having a 'marriage item' is a bad idea, as it would just bring up that whole argument on genders in SK again. (let's NOT go there)

A bowtie, would just make my day.
Also, what do you suggest would be the helmet costume piece to go with the tuxedo? A fedora perhaps?
(if you don't know what a fedora is, google is your friend.)

Gender is already in SK whether we like it or not, this is why SK allows us to wear costumes over our armor (so the guys can wear Valkyrie on fiend levels under a more masculine costume, or vice versa), even NPC knights have genders.

For the Tuxedo helmet counterpart I was thinking of a black Pith helmet with silver trim that has a built in same color Topper accessory (this topper is much more refined looking, and looks like it was made out of one piece rather than mashed up loose metal plates)

FYI I play TF2 I know what a lot of hats look like....

Heh, fair enough, but I only said that in case someone read this and had no clue what a fedora was. The pith helm with a topper on it is a grand idea, but if we had a top hat as well, I'd be sold on this idea even more.

Not really. The only true Items that define Is the trunks and sarongs. And those don't even qualify as gender anyway(a lot of the guys wear sarongs for their costume. O.O). Valkyrie Is not just for girls though. And I met a lot of people on SK that think If you wear a hood you are a girl(NO JOKE).

SO NOPE. Not really. They are just costumes.

I like it

The costumes themselves are nice. I'd like more angelic-appearing costumes to add to my wardrobe.
If the promo is just costumes and make some reskins, great. Any sort of game-changing item or (Afna forbid) proposal usable should be thrown out a car window and have many rude words spoken to it.

Costume-Wise, great - and that's all that should matter.

Also I want a flower tiara that follows the same outline of the apocrean crown. 000 pls gibe

People wear what they want to, whether it reflects who they really are or not. Regardless this would provide some more choices to what is becoming more and more reskins without many new models.
