Hey guys, I have been thinking about this. Since there are normal, fire, and stun versions of the Flourish, why can't we get freeze and shock too? I think having a variant of the Flourish that can freeze or shock would be nice! We already have different weapon types that can each do a different kind of damage, and some are just normal items given additional attributes. So I figured that if we have weapons that has different paths to have a different damage type or status inflict, then why can't we expand it? I think that would be a nice idea. Could give us some more variants of the same item also. Can you guys tell me what do you think about this? I hope there are other people who like this idea too!
Some new ideas for weapons
SK saw how much people used the current variants of Flourishes then decided not to invest time and money into making more of these underused weapons.
It would be nice but just like Winmillion, cutter, and troika suggestions on the forum this one is probably doomed due to the current meta of Brandish/FF everything.
I don't even like the brandishes though. And I prefer a blade with a pointed tip that can also be used to stab at and not just simply slashing the opponent.
And speaking of a Troika suggestion, I think one reskinned to look like a Trojan sword would be a nice one. I think a good name for the 5 star version would be "Trojan Punisher" since it's so heavy, deals a whole lot of knock back, and it actually stuns your opponent for a short time.
But even so, I hope that there can be more good ideas for different variants of existing weapons that already have such variants. Besides, there are already such variants for guns and bombs out there, so why not other weapons?
Even with their huge variety of near guaranteed status, damage type, knockback, or flinch rate bombs are still the least used weapon class in the game.
Swords are the most powerful weapons in the game per click, thus their limiting factor is lack of variability and short range.
Guns are very weak per click but have far more variability and range.
Bombs can engage multiple enemies with little planning but can only use charge attacks.
Each area has its "status" line.
Brandish is the sword "status" line. It can inflict: fire, freeze, shock, poison.
Alchemizers are the gun "status" line. They can inflict: fire, freeze, shock.
Mist bombs are the bomb "status line. They can inflict: fire, freeze, shock, poison, stun.
Flourishes do not need additional status types. We already have 4 kinds of flourish-blades anyways.

also bombs r in need of a non mist non shard elemental, I had a volcanic tempest for a time and trying to kill things with it was absolutely ridiculous
We don't need any more flourishes. They're already used enough, and a shock flourish would be the end of any difficulty in SK.
