Shadow Lair Weapons

Very special, very powerful weapons. All of these weapons have bases at the Hall of Heroes, their 3* and 4* recipes are only available through Basil, while the 5* form is only available through the Sanctuary Alchemy Machine.
Shadowflame Annihilator.
-Cutter-style weapon that has a slight chance of inflicting curse on every attack, including the ghost slashes. The 5* form require's a Maiden's Tear. The high slashes deal mixed shadow/normal damage, while the ghost slashes do pure shadow.
Great Regal Impaler.
-A Troika-style sword that has thorns and barbles all along it's side. The charge attack has very high flinch rate, but very low knockback. Instead of a pillar of light erupting after the smash, Lichen-like spikes erupt with a slightly wider AoE than Sudaruska/Triglav. The damage is split normal/piercing. Crafting requires a Celestial Ore.
Vicious Thorn Cannon.
-A blaster-style gun that shoots out huge stakes instead of energy bullets. Each bullet has a fair chance of causing strong poison, but the charge has a good chance. The damage is pure piercing. Crafting it requires a Nightmare Mane.
EMP generator.
-A DBB-style bomb that can be made from the blast bomb line of bombs. The damage is pure elemental with a Very High bonus against Constructs.. Crafting requires Gremlonium.

At first I just wanted a weapon that would make taking down menders a cinch. But you're right, the spear would be better.
Impaler gives no status, just damage. The AoE boost is kinda pointless I guess? Nevermind that then, the AoE is normal.
At first I eanted the thorn cannon to inflict stun, but that would let it complettely overshadow the Magnus guns. But if I have it deal full piercing and more damage, it would overshadoq the Blasters. I can't think of a fix atm.
Because EMPs (in real life) are weapons that destroy all machines with a pulse. So it makes sense for it to give puny knockbacks and to decimate constructs.

We already have the Obsidian edge for menders and an elemental flourish would bring some variety to LD as well as make undead fights fun, the freeze is more of a balancing feature as an excuse to lower the total damage output but a wise player could use the freeze to pull off some nice KOs.
Without a status the impaler could have more raw damage (vs neutral targets) than it's statused Troika line brothers.
Could make the thorn cannon some kind of poison/pierce alchemer. Making it into a poison Savage tortofist would be nice but the tortoguns should be event only.
Even without the construct boost it would still decimate it but taking off the perk and giving it more raw elemental damage makes it the perfect bomb for FSC something people are dying to get, sure the DBB is nice but it would be so much better for FSC as an elemental bomb.

If I can recall; There is already thread a that talks about a "stake launching gun" exactly made from the snarbolax tokens. I wish I could find the darn thread.
EDIT: Forgot "a" ;C

The cutter seems okay, as long as the curse it inflicts in minor instead of the strong that we can inflict. A split damage cutter would be a godsend.
The troika can work, but I'm usually against heavy piercing swords. All enemies weak to piercing are much better dealt with speed than power.
For the thorn cannon I'd recommend having the player move slowly while firing (Not stopping like the magnus, but still slow, like a big angry bomb charge slow). Also, remove knockback from the gun.
Lastly, elemental bomb would be great. If you want it to be an EMP, and have no knockback, I would say replace the construct bonus with a low shock chance. If we want to keep statuses out that's fine, we could keep the bonus. Perhaps this could be an upgrade to the deconstructor line?

I originally wanted to make viable versions of unpopular weapons. Hence why I chose Cutter, Troika, and Blaster.
The EMP is because bombers require an elemental DPS bomb.
So how're these,
The Cutter does minor curse. The Impaler is just as slow as a normal Troika, but the Charge is much faster and also doesnpt give a movement speed debuff. The Thorn Cannon can work the way Fangel suggested. As for the EMP bomb, any status on a blast bomb is pretty OP, so I'll stick with the Construct VH, and it also upgrades from the Deconstructor line now.
Sorry Holy, I think I'll stick with the Cutter in the end.
The Cutter sounds a bit OP, why not let the player get an Almirian spear (flourish style attacks) with Elemental and freeze.
I don't think the Impaler shouldn't have a better AOE but everything else sounds good... are you going to give it a status or have it deal more damage?
The thorn cannon sounds like an Obsidian Carbine that turned into a blaster.
The EMP sounds like a good bomb but why not just take off that construct perk and give it more raw damage?
