Just like the title, all I say is remove the Hall of Heroes recipes from Basil.
Mainly because there are thirty+ Basil recipes, adding in all of the Hall of Heroes recipes makes it impossible to get what you need.
Yes, I know this screws Basil runs but, please, make this one thing easier on the players. Please.
Remove Hall of Heroes Recipes from Basil
How about we remove the Hall of Heroes, and double the amount of recipes Basil has at once. ;)
P.S: And/or, make monsters have a chance of dropping recipes? :o
Idk..... But OOO's wouldn't EVER do that. It would make more sense to remove recipes from Basil Since Hall Of heroes IS needed for the missions. Also, Making monsters drop recipes Is not the best Idea.....
Better yet, retire most of the HoH characters except for a few select mainline options, Skelly/Jelly/Magic etc. Defensive sets and Normal damage weapons ought to be good enough for people playing through missions on "normal" difficulty.
Having a ton of exclusive recipes compete with each other in Basil's inventory has been the best thing to happen in a long time. One can only imagine what will happen in the future for presumed bomb and sword updates.
I can imagine Exerpa being blasted into another dimension by one of those bombs, That would be great way to celebrate such update.
I was thinking that way too but I would rather see removed hall of heroes and free recipes from missions, and cobalt stuff vendor back in Moorcroft Manor.
@Holy-Nightmare But harder to find too and that means you make more money if you play boring fsc.
I suggest putting the new gunner gear in hall of heroes instead of having to start an arcade run just so I can get one of the new gunner recipes. I find it very irritating that I can't go to hall of heroes and buy one of th new recipes! SEGA and three rings please do something about this.
@Sk-Tank No way! Recipes from HoH and missions broke and made arcade pretty useless. I think HoH should be removed.
-1 The HoH recipes are bound.
@Sloveniangirl
Without Hall of Heroes we would have 4* and 3* vanguards and the arcade is actually quite useful. I don't get your point... But +1 rep for the free recipes :D
This would be significantly more acceptable if there were more basil-only recipes. In fact, I think that this should happen when there are more basil only recipes for bombers and sword users to find and purchase. Doing it right now however, would basically just turn our friend Basil into the hall of heroes character responsible for the handguns, since he would be fairly likely to just have what you're looking for every other run... we need the trash recipes there to basically make players have to actually hunt for things.
Speaking of where the recipes are, reversing the location of the cowboy and new gunner sets would be a pretty smooth idea. New gunners would be able to look on and see right away what they needed and would understand what on earth is going on with these 36 crazy branching options, whereas the cowboy sets require no explanation, and don't clutter Basil's inventory with garbage so much. The cowboy sets also begin at 3*, which makes them poorly suited as starting armor, whereas the padded gunner sets start at 1*, making them perfect for newer players.
@Whyna My point is that after missions not as many ppl is into playing arcade. Arcade had much more point before. And you might didn't totaly understand what I said about recipes. I meant that free recipes from missions should be removed.
Sloveniagirl is right. Adding free recipes from mission ended up in a bunch of clones all packing the cobalt gearl. I can think of a few of people who never even bothered trying to make non-normal damage weapon because of said free recipes.
How's about the mission rewards just give out more orbs and crowns? That woule encourage new players to diversify. And if recipes are only available at Basil, it would also force new players to try out new weapons and armors.
You know, make Basil farms less worth while so people can actually get new weapons and armor.
"Make Basil farms less worth while so people can actually get new weapons and armor." No. Just either remove HoH ENTIRELY, remove them from Basil and/
remove free recipes from mission.
I don't get who benefits from Basil runs being impossible to get the items you want now, other then people with stupid amounts of luck and have nothing to do bu go to Basil all day and put stuff on auction.
>...have nothing to do bu go to Basil all day and put stuff on auction.
A.K.A. Playing the game.
@Gbot-Vtwo Thanks for supporting to Remove HoH
@Tech-Star Once all recipes were only available from basil and you had to work extremely hard to make 1 damn piece of equipment up to 5 star, especially beacuse we had mist energy to travell through depths. Missions and HoH made game too easy.
Accursed mist.
Though I don't really see how the missions and Hall of Heroes made the game "too easy". I'd say Elite mode with no sprite and quit after using your free revive would be hard enough.
Yes, I remember how hard it was to get pieces of equipment made. At least then I could still reliably pick up a Snarble Barb upgrade on Basil every week, with 10 mist.
How about we remove the entire hall of heros because we can't freakin PROGRESS IN THE DAMN GAME BECUASE WE HAVE TO PREPARE!!!!
I don't want to prepare I want to level up and I am stuck here and I can't do crap lookin for some 4* stuff and I am not gonna buy it of course because that's a waste of time :3 when you can just progress further in the game but nope get brick'd
Don't know what to say about this. On one hand it makes it a lot easier to get various recipes to do HoH missions (freaking Twisted Targe). On the other hand it makes Basil runs entirely worthless since his exclusive recipes will take no effort to get.
Rambocreativity: Do you realize how ineffective 2 and 3-Star stuff is in Tier 3? If they were to remove HoH completely as you propose, new players would be running RJP, IMF and FSC with crap gear, making it hard for experienced players to find good parties.
@Jess that makes it like dark souls I have no problem with this
@Jessecho It's to force players to have parties :) and progress further in the game with crap to get better gear,
I never have anything good and I still progress with just a tier 2 sword.
Oops sorry.
