Ever since I downloaded the newest version of Java (Version8 Update25), because of me getting constant reminders of the plugin being "vulnerable" for every single action, I could not play the installed version.
Every time I try to use the Shortcut, it gives me a message that read something like "'jawar' is not compatible with [somethingsomething]. Would you like to delete this Shortcut?", or something to that extent. I tried getting the install package from the SK website, and when trying to run it, I get the message " C:\Users\____\Downloads\spiral-install.exe is not a valid Win32 application".
After trying to get the installer again, I get a new tab saying:
"Problem loading page"
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I can play the browser fine, but I'd like to get the installed version. Anyone know why?
I tried to download from a different source, from a link in the Technical issues FAQ from the Spiral Knights Wiki (at the very bottom of the page), and when I tried to download it, I got a message from Avast saying that the download source had Malware in it. It apparently forced-stopped the download, and is preventing me from re-downloading it from the source.
Here is the page it directed me to.
